OlderLilly Singh To Star In New Disney+ Series 'The Muppets Mayhem'!
Lilly Singh is heading to Disney+ in a new series alongside some very famous Muppets!
The actress has been tapped to lead the upcoming comedy The Muppets Mayhem, alongside The Electric Mayhem Band.

Lilly will star in the human role of Nora, the junior A&R executive tasked with managing and wrangling the mayhem that is The Electric Mayhem Band.
Here’s a synopsis: After 45 years of rockin’ out, The Electric Mayhem goes on an epic musical journey to finally record their first studio album. With the help of a driven young music executive, Nora, the old-school Muppet band comes face to face with the current day music scene as they try to finally go platinum.

“Let this be your reminder to never give up. I have failed at so many auditions in the past. I’ve even completely choked at some. For years, I’ve been the runner up. But I kept trying, kept working at my craft and kept stepping out of my comfort zone until it became comfortable. Work hard and be nice to people. And the universe will provide,” she continues.
“I’m so excited to get to work and to bring Nora to life. And I’m beyond honoured to be working alongside such iconic characters (and creators!). The Muppets Mayhem was co-developed and co-written by The Goldbergs creator Adam F Goldberg, who will also executive produce.
The Muppets stars include Dr. Teeth on vocals and keyboards, Animal on drums, Floyd Pepper on vocals and bass, Janice on vocals and lead guitar, Zoot on saxophone and Lips on trumpet.
Lilly has just recently been seen in a recurring role on season two of Hulu’s Dollface.
She’ll also soon be heard in the new DreamWorks animated feature The Bad Guys. Watch the trailer here!
