Peyton List, Jacob Bertrand & More 'Cobra Kai' Stars Dish on Upcoming 5th Season

The co-stars and real life couple were joined by more of their castmates, including Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Gianni DeCenzo, Ralph Macchio and William Zabka.

This weekend, the cast and producers talked about their hit show and teased the upcoming fifth season. Co-creator Hayden Schlossberg even teased a possible return of this Karate Kid movie character!

“Anything is possible,” Hayden shared at the Deadline Contenders panel the next day. “I always say if you’re a fan of The Next Karate Kid and you want to see Julie Pierce who Hilary Swank played, we’re the show to watch to see if that happens. Season 5 is going to be coming out. It’s in the can. Anything is possible. Julie Pierce is one of the toys in the toy chest so we’ll see.”

“To have this chapter take it in another direction, it’s not always honestly what I expect,” Ralph Macchio added about the show. “Sometimes there’s a push/pull, but at the end of the day, these guys can see the whole picture where I am often very protective of the one character part. The creative collaboration from that has enhanced this character and gone deeper with it.”
