Jeff claims that he’s “lost wages and earning capacity, and has accumulated numerous, large hospital bills,” as a result of the incident.

He also alleged in the suit that he suffered critical injuries as a result of David‘s actions. He claims that while filming for a video in Utah, David suggested that someone hold onto a rope attached to an excavator while he swung them around in the air, which ultimately led to the accident.

He added that the Views host swung the machine at “unsafe speeds” before abruptly stopping, which caused him to slam into the excavator and suffer “a myriad of injuries.”

While the injuries he sustained are not listed in the filing, Jeff has previously said he suffered a broken foot and hip, a torn ligament in his leg, and a skull shattered in nine places. He was also informed by doctors that he had come dangerously close to losing an eye and has noted that he’ll endure lifelong brain injuries as a result of the stunt.
