Universal Studios Orlando to Close 5 Attractions to Make Way For New Entertainment
Universal Studios is making some more changes to it’s Orlando Resort theme park!
The company announced on Tuesday evening (November 1) that five attractions will be closing in January 2023 to make way for a new addition.

“Universal Orlando Resort will soon begin work on bringing exciting new family entertainment to Universal Studios Florida that will immerse guests in the adventures of beloved animated characters,” they shared in a statement.
In the statement, the resort revealed the following attractions are closing January 16th: Fievel’s Playland, Woody Woodpecker’s Nuthouse Coaster, Curios George Goes to Town, DreamWorks Destination, and Shrek and Donkey’s Meet & Greet. The last day to enjoy them will be January 15th.
Nearby attractions E.T. Adventure, Animaal Actors on Location!, SpongeBob StorePants (including SpongeBob and friends meet and greets) and the KidZone Pizza Company will all remain open.
No further details on what’s coming to replace these attractions have been revealed yet. Stay tuned!
