OlderLidya Jewett is 'So Excited' to Join Upcoming New 'Exorcist' Movie
Lidya Jewett has been cast in a major new role!
The young actress will be starring in the upcoming The Exorcist rebooted trilogy for Blumhouse, Deadline reveals.
“so so so so SOOOO excited to finally announce my part in this amazing sequel to the iconic classic film. I cannot wait for you all to see this phenomenal project made with phenomenal people,” Lidya shared on Instagram, along with the news.

Lidya is not the first star attached to the project. She joins Leslie Odom Jr, Ann Dowd and Ellen Burstyn, who will reprise her role of Chris MacNeil.
David Green will direct the upcoming movie, which is in production and slated for an October 13th release in theaters.
Lidya has most recently been seen in Netflix titles, the Ivy + Bean trilogy and Nightbooks, as well as NBC dramedy Good Girls.
