Meghan Trainor Regrets Giving One Song Away & It Went to Fifth Harmony

Meghan Trainor has written multiple songs for other stars, but she only considers one to be the one that got away.

The 29-year-old “Made You Look” hitmaker has writing credits on songs for the likes of Sabrina Carpenter (“Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying”), Little Mix (“You Gotta Not”), Olivia Holt (“Next”) and Jennifer Lopez (“Ain’t Your Mama”).

In a recent interview, she expressed desires to have held onto a song she ended up giving to Fifth Harmony.

“‘Sledgehammer” by Fifth Harmony is such a great one,” Meghan told PopCrush.

She burst into the song’s chorus when asked which song she would have released herself given the change.

Meghan also has writing credits on Fifth Harmony‘s “Brave Honest Beautiful” and “Suga Mama.”

“Songwriting is easy for me,” she told the outlet about her artistry.
