Walker Scobell Helps Announce that Filming Wrapped on 'Percy Jackson & the Olympians'

And that’s a wrap on Season 1 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians!

The Disney+ retelling of Rick Riordan‘s beloved novels has been in the works for a while now. However, the author recently teased that filming on the first season was coming to a close.

Franchise star Walker Scobell helped to confirm that the cast had wrapped on the show on Friday (February 3), and he did so in a pretty epic way.

Walker, who is set to portray the titular hero in the show, shared the news by diving underwater and filming a video for fans.

In it, he holds up two whiteboards. The first reads “That’s a wrap! PJO Season 1″ and “Thank you” next to a drawing of a trident. The second joking reads “Send Help.”

“That’s a wrap demigods,” the accompanying caption read on Instagram. “Season 1 of #PercyJackson and the Olympians has officially finished production! (And @walker.scobell is totally fine with it).”
