Florence Pugh Gushes Over Working With 'Dune: Part 2' Co-Stars Zendaya, Timothee Chalamet & Austin Butler

Florence Pugh is among a who’s who right now in young Hollywood and they’re all starring in the upcoming Dune: Part Two!

The 27-year-old actress will be starring alongside Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya and Austin Butler in the sequel, where she will portray Princess Irulan.

Timothee and Zendaya are of course reprising their roles from the first movie, while Austin joins as Harkonnen heir Feyd-Rautha.

In a new interview, Florence opened up about working with her co-stars and becoming friends with them.

See what she said inside…

While appearing in Vanity Fair‘s “Hollywood” issue, she was asked if she found shared experience or commonality working with actors her age and of a similar profile.

“It’s actually an interesting point because for the majority of my career I’ve worked with lots of older actors that I’ve had to pinch myself for working with. I’ve learnt a lot just by watching,” Florence shared.

“To do Dune with those specific actors at the front, like Timmy [Chalamet] and Zendaya and Austin [Butler]—they are remarkable people, number one, and unbelievable actors, number two. They’re stars in their own ways, not in the cliché way of using the word. They’re just—they’re sparkly people,” she continued.

“I’m now lucky enough to call them all my friends, which is super exciting,” Florence said. “For me to be able to work with the ‘young Hollywood’ of the moment, and them being beautiful people, and then have them on my phone when I want to text them—to see that that’s the direction in which our industry is going is such a wonderful feeling.”

Umm… who wouldn’t want to have them all as friends and in their phone?!

Austin shared what it was like being a part of the movie.
