The Kid LAROI to Make Acting Debut In 'Y2K' Comedy with Rachel Zegler, Mason Gooding & More

The Kid LAROI is heading to the big screen!

It was just announced that the 19-year-old music star has been cast in an upcoming disaster comedy, Y2K, according to Deadline.

The cast also includes some popular young stars of the moment, like Rachel Zegler and Mason Gooding, who both just had major movies release in theaters, as well as Jaeden Martell.

Y2K will be directed by Saturday Night Live alum Kyle Mooney and is “set on New Year’s Eve 1999, two high school nobodies decide to crash the last big party before the new millennium. When the clock strikes midnight, the night gets more insane than they ever could have imagined.”

Also in the star-studded ensemble cast are Julian Dennison, Lachlan Watson, Tim Heidecker, Eduardo Franco, Alicia Silverstone, Miles Robbins, Fred Hechinger and Daniel Zolghadri.

Fresh off of a huge night at the Oscars, production company A24 is financing and distributing the film worldwide, with Jonah Hill as one of the producers.
