Trevor Raine Bush is set to star in the upcoming new Disney+ series The Crossover!
The young actor stars as Vondie, aka Vondie the Giant, in the series, who is one of the Bell’s best friends and the jokester of the group.
The LeBron James-produced series is based on the book of the same name by Kwame Alexander and follows twin middle school basketball phenoms Jordan “J.B” and Josh “Filthy” Bell as they struggle with growing up, growing apart, and finding themselves — on and off the court.
Ahead of the series premiere, we caught up with the young actor and got to know 10 Fun Facts about him.

- 1. My nickname is Tbomb.
- 2. I’ve played competitive basketball, baseball and run track, but my favorite sport to watch and play recreationally is football.
- 3. I was born with Sagittal Craniosynostosis, which is when a baby’s skull is prematurely fused. I had surgery at 6 weeks and now I have an awesome scar from ear-to-ear over my head.
- 4. I love cars that GO!
- 5. I’m a HUGE Cincinnati Bengals fan! WHO DEY!!
- 6. My cat, Taz, can do backflips and play fetch like a golden retriever.
- 7. My favorite subject in school is History—Ancient Civilizations and WW2.
- 8. I’ve wanted to be an actor since I was 8 years old and saw the Indiana Jones Stunt Show at Disney World.
- 9. I love to run! My track goal for 2023 is to break 50 seconds in the 400m.
- 10. For the record: I did not put scissors in the electrical outlet at school in 7th grade. I was pulling out a broken-off plug prong… with scissors… and it sparked… and the spark burned Carter’s sweatshirt.
