Is One Direction Reuniting for Final 'The Late Late Show with James Corden'? Show Responds to Rumor

There’s a big rumor circulating on social media about a One Direction reunion!

The boy band’s five original members – Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik – have all been speculated to be back together for the upcoming final episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden.

This would mark the very first time they’ve all been together in eight years, since Zayn departed from the group in March 2015.

As reported by the Daily Mail, the schedules for all five guys seem to be clear around April 27th, the date of the final The Late Late Show.

However, the CBS late night show’s official Twitter account directly reacted to the rumor, shutting it down.

“Nobody loves the boys more than us … but this story just isn’t true,” they wrote. “What is true is we’ve got an absolutely brilliant 2 hour finale planned to celebrate 8 years of #LateLateShow at 10pm on April 27th.”
