10 Hollywood A-Listers Were in the Running to Play Spider-Man Over the Years, & 2 Of Them Even Landed Different Roles in Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield & Tom Holland's Movies

Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland have all swung in to save the day as Spider-Man.

The three actors shared the screen in Spider-Man: No Way Home, and each of them have taken the lead in a series of movies where they embodied Peter Parker.

All of them have gotten rave reviews in the role, but they also faced some stiff competition from other stars. In fact, 10 of Hollywood’s biggest stars have been considered for the part.

Some of them were in the running before Tobey‘s movies were even made. Others competed with him, Andrew and Tom for a chance to play the Marvel hero, and some even landed roles in their movies.
