Kira Kosarin & Jack Griffo Mark Last Day of Filming 'The Thundermans' Movie, Harvey Guillen To Reprise Cousin Blobbin

Kira Kosarin and Jack Griffo have let fans know that TODAY (April 28) is their last day of filming on the upcoming The Thundermans movie!

The stars, who play twins Phoebe and Max, respectively, reprise their characters for The Thundermans Return, along with co-stars Addison Riecke, Diego Velazquez, Maya Le Clark, Chris Tallman and Rosa Blasi.

“our final day of filming the Thundermans movie falling on National Superhero Day? iktr 😌⚡️,” Kira captioned a post on Instagram.

She also commented on the length of filming the movie as opposed to episodes of the Nickelodeon show.

A fan noted on Twitter that it seemed like filming went by so fast with just one month, they started at the beginning of April, a month after the movie was announced.

Kira responded, saying, “we used to film a 22 minute episode in a week… this is movie is the equivalent of about four episodes, lengthwise, so it took us four weeks :) (editing is another story though- the special effects on this movie are HUGE, so it may take a minute)”

It was also just revealed this week that Harvey Guillen will be back for the movie, reprising his recurring role of Cousin Blobbin. He’s also been cast in the upcoming Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day for Disney+. He’ll play Claudio, “a healer who helps the young titular hero take steps in the right direction,” according to Deadline.
