Disney Releases Trailer For New Pixar Short 'Carl's Date' - Watch Now!

Carl is back and he’s getting ready to go on a date!

Disney and Pixar are set to debut their brand new short, Carl’s Date, which will be out in theaters with the new Pixar movie Elemental, and they just released the trailer.

This will mark the second Up project released since the passing of Ed Asner, who voices Carl, in August 2021. The short series Dug Days debuted on Disney+ in early September 2021.

In the new short, we go home with Carl and Dug (voiced by Bob Peterson), and “catch up with Carl as he reluctantly agrees to go on a date with a lady friend—but admittedly has no idea how dating works these days. Ever the helpful friend, Dug steps in to calm Carl’s pre-date jitters and offer some tried-and-true tips for making friends—if you’re a dog.”

Bob not only voices Dug, but he also wrote and directed the short. He also wrote and directed Up! and Dug Days.

Carl’s Date will debut in theaters on June 16th, alongside Elemental.
