Tiana's Foods Water Tower Goes Up at Walt Disney World Overnight As Tiana's Bayou Adventure Construction Continues

Renovations are continuing on the upcoming The Princess and the Frog overhaul of Splash Mountain!

Overnight on Tuesday (June 27), a new monument went up at Walt Disney World‘s Magic Kingdom park for the upcoming Tiana’s Bayou Adventure – the Tiana’s Foods water tower.

The new tower also features a giant tiara on top!

“The blue skies and sunshine of Frontierland at @WaltDisneyWorld are looking a bit more regal this morning! 👑☀️ Overnight, Disney Imagineers installed the tiara-topped water tower that will be the centerpiece for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure when the attraction opens in 2024. 💜💚💛,” Disney Parks shared on social media.

For those that may not know, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will take place “after the final kiss as Naveen and Louis join Tiana on her latest adventure, hosting a one-of-a-kind Mardi Gras celebration where everyone is welcome – during which some original music inspired by songs from the film will bring guests into the story.”

Tiana will lead the way, with guests encountering old friends and meet some new ones along the way. Find out about the returning and new characters!

Splash Mountain closed down at Walt Disney World in January, while the ride at Disneyland closed in May.

If you missed it, to coincide with the new overhaul of the ride, a Tiana’s Palace restaurant with also be opening up in Disneyland’s New Orleans Square later this year.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland in late 2024.
