A first look has just been revealed for the new Spy Kids movie!

Writer and director of the original movies, Robert Rodriguez, returns to co-writer and direct the new Spy Kids: Armageddon, with a new generation of spy siblings.

In the upcoming new movie, when the children of the world’s greatest secret agents unwittingly help a powerful Game Developer unleash a computer virus that gives him control of all technology, they must become spies themselves to save their parents and the world.

“I’ve just heard from so many families how much they’ve enjoyed these films over the course of their lives. And now a lot of kids who enjoyed the first films as children are parents themselves and enjoy sharing them with their kids,” Robert shared in a statement.

Starring in the action film are Gina Rodriguez and Zachary Levi as the spy parents, Everly Carganilla and Connor Esterson as their children, Billy Magnussen and DJ Cotrona.

Spy Kids: Armageddon is slated to be released on September 22nd on Netflix.
