OlderDisney Unveils New Details For 'Zootopia' Land at Shanghai Disneyland
If you didn’t know, now you know – Zootopia is coming to life at Shanghai Disneyland!
The hit animated movie is getting it’s own themed land at the Chinese Disney park and several new details about what fans and parkgoers can expect in the area were revealed.

Zootopia is set to open in Shanghai by the end of 2023 and will feature a new attraction, Zootopified food and drinks, unique entertainment and more.
The land’s featured attraction is Zootopia: Hot Pursuit, where you prepare to become a rookie police officer with the Zootopia Police Department. It’s set after the events of the film while residents are preparing for a big concert featuring Gazelle.
Officer Clawhauser will greet guests when you walk in for orientation, and suddenly an alarm sounds and you’re whisked away to a briefing by Chief Bogo, where you find out that Gazelle has been kidnapped. Then you get assigned to backup Officer Judy Hopps and her partner Nick Wilde in a police chase. You’ll go through different Zootopia terrains and locales, including Tundra Town, Mystic Springs Oasis, Sahara Square and the Rainforest District.
Also in the land, you’ll be able to see so many characters including Fru Fru and her father Mr Big, Koslov the polar bear, Flash the sloth, Yax the yak, Duke Weaselton the weasel and the Hopps family.
Guests will also be able to take selfies with Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde at the Zootopia Recruitment Station.
For food and beverage, you’ll be able to enjoy some delicious treats at Jumbeaux’s Cafe, an ice cream shop from the movie. Those delights will include a paw-shaped popsicle, a chocolate marshmallow, and donuts.
On the shopping side, there will be a new retail location, Fashions by Fru Fru, which will be right by the Mane Street entrance, where you can shop hundreds of themed products, including the Zootopia Cute collection, new apparel, accessories, headwear and more. Inside the store will be Yax and Duke Weaselton specially themed areas.
