'The Villains of Valley View' Star Isabella Pappas Cast In 'Stranger Things' Stage Play

Isabella Pappas is hitting the stage on London’s The West End!

The Villains of Valley View actress was just announced as part of the cast of the upcoming play Stranger Things: The First Shadow, which is of course based on the hit Netflix series.

“So very thankful!!!” she shared on Twitter with the news.

She is pictured here with co-stars Oscar Lloyd and Christopher Buckley.

Isabella will be playing Joyce Maldonado, with Oscar as James Hopper Jr and Christopher as Bob Newby.

Here’s a synopsis: Hawkins, 1959: a regular town with regular worries. Young Jim Hopper’s car won’t start, Bob Newby’s sister won’t take his radio show seriously and Joyce Maldonado just wants to graduate and get the hell out of town. When new student Henry Creel arrives, his family finds that a fresh start isn’t so easy… and the shadows of the past have a very long reach.

These actors brilliantly explore the early days of many fan favorites – including Hopper, Joyce, Bob, Henry and Dr. Brenner – while also bringing new characters to vivid life. The upcoming play was written by Kate Trefry and will be directed by Stephen Daldry, with co-director Justin Martin.
