Chandler Riggs To Star In Indie Horror Comedy 'Hacked' With Owen Atlas & Collin Thompson

Chandler Riggs will be starring in a new horror comedy film!

The 24-year-old The Walking Dead star has been cast in HACKED: A Double Entendre of Rage Fueled Karma, which is based on true events, alongside Owen Atlas (pictured top right) and Collin Thompson (pictured bottom right).

“This is such a fun story that I can’t wait to be a part of,” Chandler shared in a statement. “Shane [Brady] and his whole team have been so great to work with so far, and I absolutely love indie films like this one. Can’t wait to get back to work!”

Here’s a synopsis: Hacked follows the story of a family who loses everything to a prolific and elusive hacker, aptly named ‘The Chameleon’ (Riggs). Parents Amy (Augie Duke) and Mark (Shane Brady) have $20,000 stolen, and their kids Ralph (Atlas) and Freddy (Thompson) get their entire digital lives hacked—social media, video game items, even their pointless online homework! When the bank, social media platforms, and law enforcement aren’t able to help, the family takes matters into their own hands. Turns out the only match for a mastermind Hacker are two kids who obsessively watch murder documentaries.

Also starring are Hugh Scott, Brittney Escalante, Glenn Stanton and Elyssa Kim.

In addition to starring, Shane Brady is also writing and directing. The movie, which will film in LA and Tampa, has a SAG-AFTRA interim operating agreement, as it is an independent film.
