Get to Know The Naughty Nine's Anthony Joo with 10 Fun Facts (Exclusive)

Anthony Joo made his movie debut in the new Disney holiday heist flick The Naughty Nine!

The young actor stars as Lewis, who is a nervous fifth grader with a real knack for technology and an obsession with conspiracies.

The Naughty Nine follows fifth grader Andy, who has been a bit of a troublemaker this year. When Christmas morning rolls around and Andy gets stiffed by Santa, he realizes he’s on the “naughty list.” Feeling unfairly maligned, Andy pulls together a crack team of fellow “naughty listers” to execute an elaborate heist to get the presents he and the others feel they deserve. However, in the process of finding their gifts, the gang discovers that the best way off the naughty list is to redirect their unique talents for good instead of mischief.

• 1. I was born and raised in Manhattan, New York City.
• 2. My birthday is January 23rd, so it is very easy to remember (just think “123”).
• 3. I speak Korean fluently. I spend a part of my summer in Korea every year.
• 4. I love pickles but hate cucumbers. Kimchi is also one of my favorite foods.
• 5. I am terrified of spiders.
• 6. My favorite Halloween costume was dressing up as Dustin from Stranger Things (Check out a photo in the gallery!).
• 7. I enjoy doing voice impressions, like the Minions (including entire Minions songs) or Bart Simpson or even a tea kettle.
• 8. In my spare time, I like to make stop motion movies.
• 9. I play squash. I played in my first U13 junior tournament this summer and came in third place.
• 10. I went to my first concert when I was seven years old. It was a BTS concert and it was a lot of fun.
