Nickelodeon Ends 'That Girl Lay Lay' After Two Seasons on Kids' Network

Another Nickelodeon series is coming to an end…

It was just announced that That Girl Lay Lay will conclude this week with the season two finale, Deadline reveals.

The sad news comes just over two years since the show was renewed for it’s second season.

“After 46 episodes across two seasons of That Girl Lay Lay, we are ending production on the show, and we are incredibly grateful to the cast and crew for their immeasurable contributions on the production,” a Nickelodeon spokesperson shared in a statement with Deadline.

That Girl Lay Lay follows Lay Lay, an avatar from a personal affirmation app that magically comes to life, and her best friend Sadie as they navigate life as teenagers and discover who they truly are.

Starring in the show are Alaya “That Girl Lay Lay” High, Gabrielle Nevaeh Green, Peyton Perrine III, Tiffany Daniels, Thomas Hobson and Caleb Brown.

The season two, now series, finale will air TOMORROW (March 20) on Nickelodeon.
