Nickelodeon Announces New 'Fairly OddParents' Animated Series, 2 Original Voice Actors Will Return

The Fairly OddParents universe is expanding once again!

Nickelodeon recently announced the new animated series, Fairly OddParents: A New Wish, is set to debut on the network this spring.

This new reimagining will mark the third series in the universe, following the original and the recent live-action series The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder.

Get more details inside…

The new animated series will follow ten-year-old Hazel Wells who has just moved to the big city of Dimmadelphia because of her dad’s new job. On top of being in an unfamiliar environment, it’s the first time she’s been without her brother, Antony, who’s just left for college, leaving her lonely and unsure of herself. All that changes when the pink-and-green-haired neighbors next door reveal that they are no ordinary neighbors…they’re Cosmo and Wanda, fairy godparents! And they’re coming out of retirement to make all of Hazel’s wishes come true.

Ashleigh Crystal Hairston has been cast as the voice of Hazel, who is an adventurous 10-year-old with unique interests and an even wilder imagination.

The Fairly OddParents original voice actors Susanne Blakeslee and Daran Norris will reprise their roles as Wanda and Cosmo, respectively, the lovable, recently retired fairy couple ready to take on any challenge. Despite hanging up their crowns after a 10,000-year vacation across space and time, Cosmo and Wanda are out of retirement and back to listening to their magical instincts…no matter how rusty they might be!

They also reprised their voice roles in the live action series, The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder.

The new series will consist of 20 episodes and will be CG-animated. It will premiere this Spring on Nickelodeon.

Stay tuned for more details, including an exact premiere date, trailer and more!

If you didn’t know, the end of March 2024 will mark the original show’s 23rd anniversary
