Candice Patton Dishes On Finding The Most Gorgeous & 'Indestructible' Dress For Iris on 'The Flash'

Obviously, that one wedding dress teaser pic that Candice Patton shared with fans on social media a few months ago was for Iris West — and now, the actress is opening up all about the gorgeous gown she gets to wear on the upcoming crossover event with The Flash.

“They actually flew me to LA to go to Monique Lhuillier to find a dress for Iris,” Candice shared with Bustle.

“There’s a line in the script about how Monique Lhuillier dresses are indestructible,” she continues, and she kind of needs a dress that is indestructible, since you know, she’s engaged to a superhero.

Candice adds that “[Iris] really goes through it in this episode in this wedding dress and it’s still pristine.”

While shopping around for the gown, Candice reveals that it was actually the first dress she tried on.

“We were like, ‘Okay, this is it. This is great. Feels good. Comfortable,’” she says. “The most important thing was like, ‘Am I comfortable? Am I going to be able to like run away from aliens or whatever?’ It was pretty neat.”

The four-series crossover event starts on Monday, November 27th on The CW.
