JoJo Siwa Calls Candace Cameron Bure's Recent Comments About LGBTQ+ 'Rude & Hurtful'

Months after clearing the air, all is not right with JoJo Siwa and Candace Cameron Bure once again.

The 19-year-old entertainer is now calling out the 46-year-old actress’ recent comments about the inclusion of LGBTQ+ characters in movies on the Great American Family network.

If you didn’t know, Candace was recently asked in an interview if the network would also feature same-sex couples, to which she responded, “I think that Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core.”

Her comments quickly made headlines and had other stars call her out as well, including One Tree Hill‘s Hilarie Burton, who has starred in several Hallmark movies, who called her a bigot.

Now, JoJo, who publicly had a bit of a feud with Candace over the summer, is also calling her out and reacting to her comments.

See what she said inside…

In a new Instagram post, sharing a screenshot of an article, JoJo wrote, “honestly, I can’t believe after everything that went down just a few months ago, that she would not only create a movie with intention of excluding LGBTQIA+, but then also talk about it in the press. This is rude and hurtful to a whole community of people.”

Earlier this month, JoJo and two of her projects – The J Team and Siwas Dance Pop Revolution – were nominated for Children’s & Family Emmys!

The J Team picked up Outstanding Music Direction and Composition for a Live Action Program, while both The J Team (Heather Laura Gray) and Siwas Dance Pop Revolution (JoJo) are up for Outstanding Choreography.
