OlderMarie Osmond Reveals Why She Wants Selena Gomez to Play Her in a Biopic
Marie Osmond has handpicked Selena Gomez as who she wants to play her in a biopic!
While there are currently no plans, the 63-year-old entertainer wants the 30-year-old to portray her in a movie or miniseries in the future.

“I think Selena Gomez would be amazing,” Marie told E! News. “Only because she has been through a lot of the things that I’ve been through.”
“I think it’s nice to have a child’s perspective as being an entertainer, because it’s very different,” she added.
Both Marie and Selena are Grammy award nominees. Selena is also on the shortlist for Best Original Song at the upcoming 2023 Oscars for “My Mind & Me” from her documentary of the same name. While it’s not an official nomination yet, it very well could be, and she could be nominated alongside her bestie Taylor Swift!
