5 Seconds of Summer show off their new award at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards held at Microsoft Theater on Thursday (March 14) in Los Angeles.

The guys – Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood, Luke Hemmings and Michael Clifford – took home the award for Best Pop Duo/Group. Congratulations!!

“Incredible win at the the @iHeartRadio awards!!! We won best group. Thank you so much for being with us through our ups and downs. We are on a high right now!!” the guys wrote on their Twitter page.

“‘It’s important for us to challenge peoples perceptions of a modern rock band In pop music world’ @Calum5SOS,” another tweet read.

5 Seconds of Summer have a hot new track with The Chainsmokers!

The “Youngblood” superstar band and the “Closer” dance duo released their collaboration on Thursday (February 7).

The Chainsmokers released their latest studio album, Sick Boy, on December 14, including “Side Effects” with Emily Warren and “This Feeling” with Kelsea Ballerini.

They’re also nominated for Dance Artist of the Year at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards, which air on March 14 on FOX.

5 Seconds of Summer just dropped an acoustic version of their new single “Lie to Me” and we’ve got it on repeat!

The group – Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood, Luke Hemmings and Michael Clifford – also filmed a picturesque visual to go along with the track.

In the toned-down, piano driven version of the track, produced by Zakk Cervini, the guys perform on the edge of a cliff during a stunning sunset.

The acoustic version of “Lie to Me” is available to stream on all digital platforms.

5 Seconds of Summer are back in the studio!

Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood, Luke Hemmings and the newly engaged Michael Clifford took to social media earlier this week, sharing with fans that they were starting to work on their fourth album.

“My current mindset is based around diving into deeper lyrics, and being a more understanding, diverse member of the band,” Ashton wrote on his card.

Luke added, “So happy to be back in the studio with the boys. As always, we will treat this album as our first and last. Will be giving you an honest representation of wher our lives are at through our lyrics and mood of the sonic. This is gonna rule.”

5 Seconds of Summer have dropped their “Lie to Me” music video!

The pop rock band – Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin – shared the visual with fans on Friday (January 18).

It features lead vocalist Luke sitting in a car in the middle of an abandoned race track at night. Two cars then crash into either side of the vehicle, leading to a fiery explosion.

“Now I wish we never met/ Cause you’re too hard to forget/ While I’m cleaning up your mess/ I know he’s taking off your dress,” he sings.

“Lie to Me” is part of 5SOS‘s 2018 album Youngblood.

5 Seconds of Summer have debuted a remix of their song “Lie to Me” featuring Julia Michaels!

The pop rock band – Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, Luke Hemmings, and Ashton Irwin – and the “Hurt Somebody” singer shared the track with fans on Thursday (December 20).

The original “Lie to Me” appears on 5SOS‘s latest album Youngblood.

The new version explores both sides of the relationship, with lyrics like, “Now I wish we’d never met/ ‘Cause you’re too hard to forget” and “While he’s taking off my dress/ I know she’s laying on your chest.”

If that’s not enough, the guys have also dropped a live album, Meet You There Tour Live!, recorded during their headlining 2018 shows.
