The Substitute is coming back and they’re adding a host!
The Nickelodeon celebrity disguise series will return for season two, and social star Juanpa Zurita will serve as the first ever host.
Juanpa will direct the celebrities throughout each episode of the hidden-camera prank series.
The Substitute features celebrities who are transformed by a team of Hollywood special effects artists to go undercover as a substitute, surprising unsuspecting kids in schools, camps and other locations. During the reveal at the end of the day, each organization receives a $25,000 donation.
In the Halloween-themed premiere episode, Zombies 2 star Baby Ariel will go undercover at a haunted house to pull off ghoulishly wacky pranks on kids visiting with the Q Youth Foundation.
Using a full costume and prosthetics to hide her identity, Ariel is transformed into three completely unrecognizable characters, pranking students as an apothecary shop owner who is often suspected of being a witch, a field trip volunteer and full-time ghost hunter who is desperate to finally prove their existence and a haunted house employee whose biggest adversary is a scarecrow.
Other celebs to be featured in season two include Chloe Kim, Chris Paul and more to be announced later.
Tune in to the season two premiere of The Substitute on Halloween night (October 31) at 9pm on Nickelodeon!

Ariel and Trevor‘s newest one is called “Kudos and Kudon’ts,” and they are joined by 9-year-old crayon activist™️ Bellen Woodard, who sparked a mission of inclusion with the crayon colors for skin tones.
The duo’s segments air daily on Disney Channel and will be available Disney Channel’s YouTube page.
Amid the quarantine, Loren decided to plan a virtual party with her friends: Ariel Martin, Tati McQuay, Brooke Kier and Erika Marosi. They all shot footage of the party prep, including cake baking and glam, at their homes and joined up on Zoom for a Girls’ Night In, directed by Nikko LaMere.
The song was started earlier this year prior to lockdown, and Loren finished the song by creating her own at-home studio. The release follows her recent appearances in music videos for Taylor Swift‘s “The Man” and Kim Petras‘ “Malibu.”
