The opening number for the 2016 Kids’ Choice Awards held at The Forum in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (March 12) just aired and it was full of Star Wars references!
The opening showed Blake Shelton vs. the Storm Troopers, who apparently were trying to take over the big show!
With the help of Selena Gomez, Blake was able to head on stage before the Storm Troopers and save the day.

“My agent called and was like, ‘Is there anything you can think of that you’d want to do?’� And I actually had been thinking I want to host those Kids’ Choice Awards, I want to do it,” Blake said. “And she was like, ‘Uhhhh� Okay.’ I wanna do this thing with kids. It’s fun. I wanna get slimed.”
