Nina Dobrev poses with her longtime pal and co-star Paul Wesley in this lovely photo from their last day filming The Vampire Diaries together!

The 26-year-old actress shared a bunch of photos with other co-stars too, including Candice Accola, Kat Graham, Ian Somerhalder, and Matt Davis.

“From 2009 Season One…To 2015 Season Six life is such a crazy beautiful insane journey,” Candice captioned a sweet pic.

Meanwhile, Michael Trevino, who is also leaving the show, has been posting photos as well, which you can check out below!

While we’re still in mourning over the shocking news that Nina Dobrev is leaving The Vampire Diaries, we can’t help but feel thankful for the lovely Candice Accola.

It’s no secret that Caroline wasn’t the most popular character back in season one, but over the years, she’s become the strongest, most badass vampire in Mystic Falls. Not to mention, she also sweet, protective, and fun – even when she goes a tad overboard.

Between her and Kat Graham, we still have a lot of leading lady left on the show!

Nina Dobrev spent the holiday weekend with her Vampire Diaries family and now fans are speculating that she’s leaving the show!

The 26-year-old actress hung out with co-stars Kat Graham, Michael Trevino, Candice Accola and hubby Joe King, and Michael Malarkey, as well as some crew members, all of whom shared the fun on Instagram.

Two photos in particular, which have since been deleted and/or edited, had very mysterious captions. One read, “lake life in honor of @michael_trevino and @nina_dobrev,” which doesn’t seem too suspicious.

But the other said, “playin a little croquet at the lake #unicornlake #ninawewillmissyou.” Check out the screenshots below!

This of course made the fans go crazy! While some are wondering what this means for the show, others are convinced this means that their favorite couples are endgame. Check out some reactions below!

The Vampire Diaries has indeed been picked up for a seventh season, but there’s no official word on which castmembers have signed on yet.

Let’s face it, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (Candice Accola) are so much fun to watch when their humanity switches are turned off!

During tonight’s (March 19) episode of The Vampire Diaries, they went back and forth trying to out-do the other in the “who can be more reckless” contest, but it all ended with a STEAMING hot makeout session…which led to them ending up in bed together! Watch below!

That’s right, the first time Steroline slept together, they were humanity-less. That begs the question though – since Stefan is Caroline’s emotional trigger, will she turn it back on?

Meanwhile, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) was determined to get Stefan back to his old self before he turns into a full-blown ripper again. So much so that he traveled to 1903 with Elena (Nina Dobrev), Bonnie (Kat Graham), and Kai (Chris Wood) in tow, hoping his mother Lily will be that trigger for Stefan.

So not only did they bring Lily back to the present, but Bonnie went all badass and left Kai back in the prison world with a bunch of desecrating vampires! Oh, and then she pulled out the cure she stole from Silas’ tomb in 1994 and gave it to Damon to do with it what he pleases! Will Elena take it?! Will a Salvatore brother take it?! What a twist!

Oh, and as for Enzo (Michael Malarkey), he decided to give up his sick and twisted game of messing with Sarah Salvatore at the expense of Stefan. But just as he let her free, he realized she completely lost her memories. Um, what?!

Candice Accola sticks by gal pal Kayla Ewell‘s side inside Vanity Fair and L’Oreal Paris’ D.J. Night Pre-Oscar Bash held at 1OAK in Los Angeles on Friday night (February 20).

The two actresses, who both starred on The Vampire Diaries, made it a girls night out ahead of the at the 2015 Academy Awards.

“Best lady date night ever! @kaylaewell my favorite human in the world! #girlrising @vanityfair #getthelook,” Candice captioned on Instagram.

Also spotted at the bash: Vampire Diaries co-star Chris Wood, Jessica Lowndes and Nolan Gerard Funk.

Ellar Coltrane and Lorelai Linklater are the cutest fake siblings pair ever while meeting up at Vanity Fair & Chrysler’s Boyhood Celebration on Thursday (February 19) at Cecconi’s in Los Angeles.

The co-stars were joined by their movie mom Patricia Arquette, director Richard Linklater, co-star Zoe Graham, and many others.

Tyler Hoechlin, who will star in Richard‘s upcoming baseball movie, stepped out, as well as The Vampire Diaries cast member Candice Accola, Chris Wood, and Jodi Lyn O’Keefe, How to Get Away With Murder‘s Karla Souza, and Silicon Valley‘s Amanda Crew.

Candice Accola previews what is sure-to-be another heartbreaking episode of The Vampire Diaries as we say our final goodbyes to Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) tonight.

The 27-year-old actress of course stars as Caroline, our favorite fun-loving vampire who sadly just lost her mother to cancer.

Not only is she dealing with this huge loss, but Caroline and Stefan (Paul Wesley) just shared their first kiss after years of friendship and seasons of sexual tension.

JustJaredJr.com: Hi Candice! So we’ve seen a lot of deaths on this show, but really not that many funerals. What can you tell us about the episode tonight?

Candice Accola: You can expect a lot of tears. If anyone thinks the episode is going to get more cheerful this week, be prepared with a lot of Kleenex because it’s going to be an emotional funeral. And yes, I sing at one point. Caroline pays tribute to her mother and it’s a really really huge moment. You see all the characters really come together and mourn. It’s just sad. And like you said, there’s so much death on the show, but this is just something they couldn’t compete with. It’s not some spell or some vampire disease. It’s a very real thing. Caroline’s mother, Sheriff Forbes, died of cancer and there was nothing anyone could do. So it’s a really sad funeral.
