'Fantastics Beasts' Takes Us Back To Hogwarts in New Featurette - Watch!

A group of school kids head down the hall to class in this new featurette from Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

In the new visual, author JK Rowling, Eddie Redmayne and Jude Law open up about going back to Hogwarts in the upcoming film, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

“It’s slightly an odd, out of body experience,” Jude, who plays Albus Dumbledore says. “Because I’ve watched with everyone else…those classes…”

“So to be in it, you’re in there doing it but then you look back as yourself and realize how special it was.”

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald hits theaters in November.

'Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald' First Look Photo Released!

We finally know the title to the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them sequel!

The movie will be titled Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, and will be released in exactly one year.

In addition, a first look photo was also just revealed and features, from left to right, the main cast! Check out Jude Law (Albus Dumbledore), Ezra Miller (Credence), Claudia Kim (Maledictus), Zoe Kravitz (Leta Lestrange), Callum Turner (Theseus Scamander), Katherine Waterston (Tina Goldstein), Eddie Redmayne (Newt), Dan Fogler (Jacob), Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein), and Johnny Depp (Gellert Grindelwald).

At the end of the first film, the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Depp) was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander (Redmayne). But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings. In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

Fans Think Harry Potter's Ariana Dumbledore Was An Obscurus & We Definitely Agree With Them

Fans Think Harry Potter's Ariana Dumbledore Was An Obscurus & We Definitely Agree With Them

Harry Potter fans are just way too smart and we yearn to be like them all the time — especially when they figure out something like this.

In a major connection with the prequel franchise, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, fans have pointed out that Ariana Dumbledore, Albus’ younger sister, might have actually been an obcurus too, like Credence (Ezra Miller).

Here’s the history behind Ariana: she was assaulted by three Muggle boys who saw her doing magic and because of this trauma, Ariana refuses to use her powers and becomes magically unstable.

Years later, their mother Kendra dies in an accidental outburst of magic from Ariana, leaving Albus in charge of the family.

Sounds an awful lot like an obscurus to us!

We finally know some details about the plot for the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them sequel!

The sequel will hit theaters on November 16, 2018.

The film will pick up with Johnny Depp‘s Grindelwald having escaped and “gathering more followers to his cause – elevating wizards above all non-magical beings. The only one who might be able to stop him is the wizard he once called his dearest friend, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law). But Dumbledore will need help from the wizard who had thwarted Grindelwald once before, his former student Newt Scamander. The adventure reunites Newt with Tina (Katherine Waterston), Queenie (Alison Sudol) and Jacob (Dan Fogler), but his mission will also test their loyalties as they face new perils in an increasingly dangerous and divided wizarding world.”

In addition to Eddie Redmayne, Zoe Kravitz, and more, Ezra Miller will also return “whose fate was unknown at the end of the first film” and who “makes a mysterious return.”
