Emma Watson Gives Her Seal of Approval to 'Fantastic Beasts'

Emma Watson is dishing on what she thought about Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them!

The 26-year-old actress, who played Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, got to see the movie and she totally loved it.

Emma took to her Twitter to praise the film, sending a tweet filled with adorable animal emojis.

“Have you seen @fantasticbeasts ? If you have did you love it as much as I did?” she wrote, prompting tons of positive responses.

Harry Potter fans seem to be loving the movie as well, which topped the box office over the weekend with a $75 million debut!

The release of the upcoming Harry Potter spin-off movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is inching closer and closer and seeing the stars at the New York premiere is getting us SO excited!

Eddie Redmayne and Ezra Miller were among the actors who walked the red carpet at the world premiere held at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall on Thursday (November 10) in New York City.

Also in attendance were stars Zoe Kravitz, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Faith Wood-Blagrove, and writer JK Rowling. Earlier in the day, the cast attended a press conference for the film.

Harry Potter star Evanna Lynch and Eddie‘s wife Hannah also walked the carpet, among others!

FYI: Zoe is wearing an Alexander McQueen dress.

One of Your Favorite Wizards Is Headed to 'Fantastic Beasts'

It’s officially been confirmed that the Head of Hogwarts AKA Dumbledore will be coming to Fantastic Beasts movies!

The director of the film, David Yates, shared the news that the beloved wizard will be portrayed by a new actor in the Harry Potter spinoff series.

“In the second movie Dumbledore comes back. He’s got a couple of good scenes with Newt…We’re discussing who would play Dumbledore. Any suggestions would be good,” he said during an interview with Screen Rant.

Casting is currently underway for the role in the Harry Potter prequels, which is now set to span five films.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is set to hit theaters on November 18th.

'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' Locations Added To Google Maps!

Talk about the coolest promo ever for a movie — Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them locations have been added to Google Maps!

In anticipation of the upcoming movie, out on November 18th, Warner Brothers have teamed up with Google and fans will be able to pull up The Blind Pig and The Goldstein Residence. Plus, if you’re on an Android phone, say “Okay Google”, and pair it with the “Lumos”, “Silencio” or “Nox” spells and they will work!

“Lumos” activates the flashlight, “Silencio” puts the phone into do not disturb/mute mode, and “Nox” will shut it down.

'Fantastic Beasts' Sequel Adds Johnny Depp to Cast!

The cast for the upcoming sequel for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is shaping up before the first movie in the franchise even hits theaters!

Johnny Depp was just cast in a co-starring role alongside Eddie Redmayne, according to Deadline.

While it is not yet known who Johnny will play in the film, he is rumored to be making a quick appearance in the first installment of the franchise, out in theaters on November 18.

The upcoming movie follows a secret community of witches and wizards in New York and is set 70 years before the events in Harry Potter.

The Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them co-stars discussed the new film and teased four new clips.

Eddie shared how he got wand tips from the original Harry Potter stars.

“I think probably to relax,” he told EW. “I hadn’t realized it, but subconsciously it’d been like, 33 years of drumroll to that moment � and so the nerves were pretty high when I picked up that wand. � I would say to myself, relax a bit. But we got quite into it, we went to these wand-work sessions, all of us, it was really funny.”

'Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them' Franchise Will Have Five Films!

We are loving this new poster for the upcoming Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them!

Author J.K. Rowling also just revealed that the story will play out in five films during a special Facebook Live Q&A on Thursday (October 13) in London, England.

“.@jk_rowling has just confirmed the magic continues in a total of FIVE MOVIES! We can’t wait! #FantasticBeasts,” the official movie account tweeted.

Stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, and Dan Fogler were also in attendance, as were Colin Farrell and Jon Voight via satellite from Los Angeles.

Fantastic Beasts opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander (Redmayne) has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures.

Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident�were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.
