As for which shows will be introduced, the Arrow spin-off The Flash, Rob Thomas‘ iZombie, apocalyptic drama The Messengers, and dramedy Jane the Virgin have all been given the green light. The highly-anticipated Supernatural spin-off Bloodlines was passed on.
Meanwhile, fan favorites Beauty and the Beast and Hart of Dixie have each been picked up for another season.

The show starring Joseph Morgan, Daniel Gillies and Claire Holt, made it’s debut during The Vampire Diaries block just last night (April 25).
“As soon as we saw last night’s episode of The Vampire Diaries, we knew we wanted more of The Originals Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson have done a fantastic job with The Vampire Diaries, which is as fast-paced and well-written as ever, and Julie has created an equally compelling world for The Originals,” Mark Pedowitz, President of the CW shared.
Hart of Dixie and Beauty and the Beast are also coming back for new seasons.
