Jace Norman Loves How 'Henry Danger' Portrays Superheroes

Jace Norman has starred as the title character in Nickelodeon’s Henry Danger for what seems like a long time.

The star of the show recently opened up about the series and how it portrays superheroes for kids.

“I think that what makes the show really great, in my opinion, is that the superheroes are the most irresponsible people and they should not be defending anybody,” Jace shared in an interview with Build Series.

“They can barely take care of themselves. People still think, ‘Oh, there are these amazing superheroes,’ but you see the behind the scenes of us and we don’t even know what’re doing.”

Jace also opened up about growing up side by side with Henry.

“Me and Henry grew at the same time. When I started, I was this nervous kid and then Henry was this nervous kid because he just got this job,” Jace shared.

He adds, “That’s kind of the transition I’ve been making in the show. [In] Season 3, the character of Henry has been going in that direction.”

Henry Danger‘s season three will conclude in August this year, and season four will pick up in the fall.

Jace Norman really can’t stop laughing during his interview at Build Series in New York City this week.

The Nickelodeon star was in town to promote the new Henry Danger animated series, The Adventures of Kid Danger and Captain Man.

An extension of the live action show, in the animated series, brand-new areas of the superheroes’ headquarters will be seen by fans for the very first time, including the Man Cave tube system, which propels the crime fighters into adventure; and the Man Cave garage, filled with crime-fighting vehicles and gadgets used on missions.

Sounds kind of cool!

Jace, as well as his co-stars Cooper Barnes, Riele Downs, Sean Ryan Fox, and Ella Anderson will all be voicing their animated characters too.

No word on a premiere date just yet, but when JJJ knows, you’ll know!

Henry Danger's Jace Norman Laughs A Lot During Scenes!

Henry Danger's Jace Norman Laughs A Lot During Scenes!

Jace Norman is opening up about all the fun he has on set of Henry Danger.

The 16-year-old actor recently talked to JJJ about who breaks character the most during scenes.

“Probably me and Cooper [Barnes],” Jace admitted. “I remember the last day shooting we were exhausted and super loopy and not thinking right. We couldn’t look at each other’s faces. And it was bad. It wasn’t just like, ‘Oh haha, funny.’ We had to get the shot done. We had like 20 minutes left.”

We also asked him which storylines he’d like to explore in season four.

“I feel like I want to know a little bit more about Henry’s family,” Jace told us. “We don’t explore that as much in season three. It’s more about the gang and the superhero, but I want to learn more about his family and where he’s from.”

Jace Norman may be a young actor, but he’s had his fair share of romantic on-screen moments already.

The Henry Danger star recently opened up about how these kinds of scenes used to be his most challenging – and how he overcame that.

“Honestly, at the first it would probably be the romantic ones, but we’ve done them so many times that you kind of get used to it,” Jace told JJJ. “As long as you’re super professional, it’s not so awkward. But I think…probably those. They are the most nerve-racking and not always the most comfortable, as you can imagine.”

He added, “I think you just have to make it funny and not take it too seriously, kind of loosen up a little bit.”
