Jace Norman has starred as the title character in Nickelodeon’s Henry Danger for what seems like a long time.
The star of the show recently opened up about the series and how it portrays superheroes for kids.
“I think that what makes the show really great, in my opinion, is that the superheroes are the most irresponsible people and they should not be defending anybody,” Jace shared in an interview with Build Series.
“They can barely take care of themselves. People still think, ‘Oh, there are these amazing superheroes,’ but you see the behind the scenes of us and we don’t even know what’re doing.”
Jace also opened up about growing up side by side with Henry.
“Me and Henry grew at the same time. When I started, I was this nervous kid and then Henry was this nervous kid because he just got this job,” Jace shared.
He adds, “That’s kind of the transition I’ve been making in the show. [In] Season 3, the character of Henry has been going in that direction.”
Henry Danger‘s season three will conclude in August this year, and season four will pick up in the fall.
If you didn’t know, Henry Danger is also getting the animated treatment, too!
The animated series, called The Adventures of Kid Danger and Captain Man, has 10 episodes coming and will follow Kid Danger and Captain Man as they face new adventuresbattling bizarre criminals and supervillains with their sharp wit and amazing crime-fighting skills.
Ellen DeGeneres loves to give surprises — and this surprise is one of the best!
The host brought kid trainer Demarjay Smith from Jamaica back to her show to catch up with him about his latest adventures and new motivations.
After sharing some good news of his own where he’s headed to Japan to shoot some commercials, Ellen gave Demarjay even more good news — he’ll be guest starring on the new crossover between Game Shakers and Henry Danger!
While we don’t know all the details of the crossover yet, JJJ is really excited to find out more!
It’s really no wonder just why the Henry Danger cast won Favorite TV show at the recent Kids’ Choice Awards — they’re hilarious…and they actually grew up right in front of our eyes without us even knowing it!
Seriously, Ella looks NOTHING like she did when the show started back in 2014.
Henry Danger currently airs on Saturdays @ 8PM ET/PT on Nickelodeon.

Jace Norman really can’t stop laughing during his interview at Build Series in New York City this week.
The Nickelodeon star was in town to promote the new Henry Danger animated series, The Adventures of Kid Danger and Captain Man.
An extension of the live action show, in the animated series, brand-new areas of the superheroes’ headquarters will be seen by fans for the very first time, including the Man Cave tube system, which propels the crime fighters into adventure; and the Man Cave garage, filled with crime-fighting vehicles and gadgets used on missions.
The 16-year-old actor recently talked to JJJ about who breaks character the most during scenes.
“Probably me and Cooper [Barnes],” Jace admitted. “I remember the last day shooting we were exhausted and super loopy and not thinking right. We couldn’t look at each other’s faces. And it was bad. It wasn’t just like, ‘Oh haha, funny.’ We had to get the shot done. We had like 20 minutes left.”
We also asked him which storylines he’d like to explore in season four.
“I feel like I want to know a little bit more about Henry’s family,” Jace told us. “We don’t explore that as much in season three. It’s more about the gang and the superhero, but I want to learn more about his family and where he’s from.”
“Honestly, at the first it would probably be the romantic ones, but we’ve done them so many times that you kind of get used to it,” Jace told JJJ. “As long as you’re super professional, it’s not so awkward. But I think…probably those. They are the most nerve-racking and not always the most comfortable, as you can imagine.”
He added, “I think you just have to make it funny and not take it too seriously, kind of loosen up a little bit.”
