Addison Rae & Co-Stars Mark The Beginning of Filming On 'He's All That'

Addison Rae has begun filming on her first day of her new movie He’s All That!

The 20-year-old plays Padget in the film and shared a couple of Instagram stories from inside her trailer on Monday morning (November 16).

“First day on set for ‘He’s All That’ ❤️,” Addison captioned one photo.

He’s All That is directed by Mark Waters, and follows an influencer who decides to avenge herself by accepting a challenge to turn the school’s biggest loser into prom king after her boyfriend turns her into a laughing stock.

Also sharing photos from the first day on set were her co-stars Madison Pettis, Isabella Crovetti and Myra Molloy.

Earlier in the day, JJJ exclusively revealed that Andrew Matarazzo will also be starring in the movie, and he shared a first look photo at his character, who’s a “bad boy.”

The cast was gifted a new pair of shoes from the movie’s production company Miramax to celebrate the first day.

The girls shared photos of their new kicks, along with the note from producers.

“We are very excited to welcome you to the production of ‘He’s All That.’ Best wishes on your first day of principal photography. – Your friends at Miramax,” the note read.

Tanner Buchanan, Peyton Meyer and Annie Jacob are also set to star in the movie remake.

Andrew Matarazzo is the latest star to join the cast of He’s All That!

The 23-year-old actor will play bad boy Logan, one of Jordan’s (Peyton Meyer) best friends, JJJ can exclusively reveal.

The upcoming remake of the 90s film She’s All That follows an influencer who decides to avenge herself by accepting a challenge to turn the school’s biggest loser into prom king after her boyfriend turns her into a laughing stock.

He’s All That stars Addison Rae in the lead role, with Tanner Buchanan as her leading man. Find out who else has been cast in the movie!

Andrew is most notable for his role as Gabe in Teen Wolf, or Flaco in Jane The Virgin.

Madison Pettis, Peyton Meyer & More Join Addison Rae In 'He's All That'

Madison Pettis and Peyton Meyer have joined the cast of the upcoming remake He’s All That!

The two former Disney stars join Addison Rae and Tanner Buchanan in the growing cast, Deadline reveals.

Also joining the cast include Magic Camp‘s Isabella Crovetti, Motherland: Fort Salem‘s Annie Jacob and singer Myra Molloy.

Madison is reportedly set to take on the reimagined role that the late Paul Walker played in the original film, She’s All That. Peyton will play Addison‘s jerky boyfriend, Isabella will play Tanner‘s younger sister, and Myra will take on the role of Addison‘s best friend, while Annie will play Tanner‘s best friend.

“Booked & Busy & Blessed ☺️ Can’t wait to start working on this!” Madison shared with the news on Instagram.

“Someone pinch me 👁👄👁,” Myra wrote on her Instagram page.

'Cobra Kai' Star Tanner Buchanan Joins Addison Rae In 'He's All That'

Addison Rae‘s leading man has been cast!

Tanner Buchanan, who you may know from Cobra Kai, will star alongside the TikToker in the upcoming She’s All That remake, He’s All That.

The 21-year-old actor will play the reimagined role that Rachael Leigh Cook originated in the 1999 movie, according to Deadline. Addison will be playing the reimagined role that Freddie Prinze Jr originated.

He’s All That follows an influencer who decides to avenge herself by accepting a challenge to turn the school’s biggest loser into prom king after her boyfriend turns her into a laughing stock.

Freaky Friday and Mean Girls director Mark Waters will be directing this new film. R. Lee Fleming Jr, who wrote the original, will also write the new script, and he’ll be re-teaming up with the original movie’s producers Jennifer Gibgot and Andrew Panay.

“I am so grateful to be a part of this amazing project! #hesallthat,” Tanner wrote on Instagram.

Addison Rae is heading to the big screen!!

It was just announced that the 19-year-old TikToker will star in a remake of the 1999 movie She’s All That.

Addison will take on a reimagined role based off of Freddie Prinze Jr‘s character in a gender-swapped reboot titled He’s All That, Variety reports.

The new version will “put a 21st century spin on the original, with the new version following an influencer who attempts to turn a nerdy boy into prom king.”

“AHHHHH!!! My dreams are coming true!!! I’m so excited to finally share the news that i am getting the opportunity to make my acting debut in HE’S ALL THAT which is a remake of one of my all time favorite movies, SHE’S ALL THAT,” Addison wrote on Instagram.

“I’m so grateful for the opportunities that have been presented to me and none of it would have ever happened without every single one of you,” she continued. “I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!! I can’t wait for you to see it!!! I can’t wait to work with this amazing team and everyone involved in making the film and am so thankful to everyone who gave me this incredible opportunity. “This reboot is a welcomed step towards a new generation of Miramax storytelling, part of our greater strategy to leverage our existing library with fresh, re-imagined content in both film and TV,” Miramax CEO Bill Block said in a statement.

Mean Girls and Freaky Friday filmmaker Mark Waters is set to direct.

This casting will mark Addison‘s big screen debut, and her first on-screen role. She made her movie debut as the voice of Marnie in the animated film Spy Cat.
