During her appearance at BUILD Series in New York City on Friday (October 6), the actress dished about learning even more things for season two and just where we are when the series returns.
“For this season, it’s the gap between books two and three,” she shared. “We have some creative liberties there…and for fans, who are wondering what happened between those two books, this is it. It’s super cool.”
“Out of everyone, I think that Eretria drifts most from the books,” Ivana reveals. In fact, her story is going to be much bigger.
Ivana adds that “she’ll find out what that tattoo means on her back, where she is from, and who her parents really are.”
Ivana Baquero wows in a red dress at People Magazine’s ‘Ones To Watch’ Party held at NeueHouse Hollywood on Wednesday night (October 4) in Los Angeles.
In a recent interview, Ivana opened up about Eretria’s growth we’ll see in season two of the show.
“Eretria undergoes a remarkable transformation in Season 1. Essentially, she goes from being selfish to selfless, and in the quest to save her life and the world from a demon invasion, she learns about love, compassion, and friendship.”
She adds, “By the end of Season 1, you’d think she’s ‘completed’ her arch, but little do we realize that she has yet to learn the most important thing about herself – which she will explore in Season 2 – who she really is and where she comes from.”
Paris Jackson, Julia Michaels and Sasha Pieterse strike a pose on the carpet while attending People Magazine’s 2017 Ones To Watch Party held at NeueHouse Hollywood on Wednesday (October 4) in Los Angeles.
FYI: Paris is wearing Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood with Sarah Flint shoes. Ivana is wearing HOUSE OF CB. Alisha is wearing an Allen Schwartz jumpsuit, Aldo sandal and Vince Camilo clutch. Julia is wearing Jen Hansen jewelry.
We’re only a week away from The Shannara Chronicles season two premiere and Ivana Baquero is giving us just a little taste of what we’re going to see.
There are new characters, a new big bad in The Crimson, and there’s life beyond Arborlon in The Four Lands — but one thing will never change and that’s Eretria and Wil’s bond.
“Whether romantically or not, Wil and Eretria will always be destined to have a future together,” Ivana shared in a recent interview.
She adds, “They’ve been through so much together that inevitably they share a unique and unbreakable bond. Amidst pains and scars left behind from Season 1, Wil and Eretria will find a way to each other in Season 2.”
The Shannara Chronicles returns on Wednesday, October 11th @ 10PM ET/PT on Spike.
We have two weeks until The Shannara Chronicles is back on our television screens and the writers are giving us a major preview in a new featurette.
“We didn’t want to go back to Arborlon, we wanted to see something different,” Miles Mallar shared. “So we built the whole Palace of Leah. Very gold, very blingy and very different from the Elves.”
Al Gough adds, “We’ll also see Storlock, which is kind of a gnome village and they are the best healers in the Four Lands.”
Other places on the map we’ll see this season include Graymark, Skull Mountain, and more.
The Shannara Chronicles returns on October 11th @ 10PM ET/PT on Spike.
In season two, although the war is over, a new terror is rising throughout the Four Lands: A group called The Crimson has begun hunting down magic users, with Wil and Allanon as two of their biggest targets.
Wil and Eretria (Ivana Baquero) remain separated when the season begins.
However, with new characters – including a woman named Mareth (Malese Jow) who saves Wil from a Crimson attack, glimpsed in the trailer – involved, they’ll all be forced into the fight.
The 10-episode second season will returns on Wednesday, October 11th, @ 10PM ET/PT on Spike.
