Ariana DeBose and David Alvarez step out for the premiere of their new movie West Side Story held at Rose Theater, Jazz at Lincoln Center on Monday night (November 29) in New York City.
The co-stars portray Anita and Bernardo in the upcoming movie musical, which is based on the Broadway show of the same name.
Also in attendance were their co-stars Mike Faist, Josh Andres Rivera, Ilda Mason, Ana Isabelle, Brian d’Arcy James and Corey Stoll, as well as director Steven Spielberg with wife Kate Capshaw.

A new clip from West Side Story has been released, prominently featuring Rachel Zegler and Ariana DeBose.
The new clip comes exactly one month before the highly-anticipated film hits theaters on December 10th.
Also featured in the latest video are Rita Moreno, David Alvarez, Mike Faist, Josh Andres Rivera and Ansel Elgort.

Rachel Zegler kicks off the new West Side Story trailer with the song “Tonight”!
The 20-year-old stars as María in the new musical film adaptation, directed by Stephen Spielberg.
Also starring in the film are Ansel Elgort as Tony, Ariana DeBose as Anita, David Alvarez as Bernardo, Mike Faist as Riff, Josh Andrés Rivera as Chino, Ana Isabelle as Rosalía, Corey Stoll as Lieutenant Schrank, Brian d’Arcy James as Officer Krupke and Rita Moreno as Valentina, who owns the corner store in which Tony works.

Rachel Zegler holds hands with Ansel Elgort in this first look image from West Side Story!
The first cast photo shows off members of the Sharks and Jets gangs for the upcoming remake of the classic musical, as well as a first look at Rachel‘s Maria.
Here’s a list of everyone who is in the image: Anybodys (Ezra Menas), Mouthpiece (Ben Cook), Action (Sean Harrison Jones), Jets leader Riff (Mike Faist), Baby John (Patrick Higgins), Maria’s brother and Sharks leader Bernardo (David Alvarez), and Sharks members Quique (Julius Anthony Rubio), Chago (Ricardo Zayas), Chino (Josh Andrés Rivera), Braulio (Sebastian Serra) and Pipo (Carlos Sánchez Falú).
The cast also includes Maddie Ziegler, who will play a member of the Jets.
West Side Story is set to hit theaters on December 18th, 2020.
