The 20-year-old takes the cover of Elle magazine‘s May Rising Star issue, and she opened up about facing online criticism and how her West Side Story co-star and IRL man helps keep her grounded.

Rachel Zegler and boyfriend Josh Andres Rivera hit the red carpet at the 2022 Grammy Awards held at MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (April 3) in Las Vegas.
The couple are back together in the states after the 20-year-old actress just returned from London, where she’s filming the upcoming live action Snow White.
After the Grammys, Rachel will head back to continue filming the musical.
Also in attendance were Ben Platt with boyfriend Noah Galvin, Wicked‘s Cynthia Erivo and Leslie Odom Jr.
Rachel, Ben, Cynthia and Leslie will all be taking the stage during the show to perform a tribute to the late composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim.
Ben‘s movie Dear Evan Hansen was also nominated for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media, but it lost out to The United States vs. Billie Holiday. Leslie was also nominated for Best Song Written for Visual Media for “Speak Now” from One Night In Miami, but he lost out to Bo Burnham.
FYI: Rachel and Leslie are wearing Dior. Cynthia is wearing Louis Vuitton.
Last weekend, Rachel and Josh stepped out together at the Oscars, where she was a presenter. Their movie West Side Story was also nominated.

Halle Bailey, Rachel Zegler and Naomi Scott arrive for the 2022 Oscars held at Dolby Theatre on Sunday (March 27) in Hollywood.
The young actresses are all live action Disney movie princesses, as is Lily James, who was also seen arriving for the ceremony.
Halle, Naomi and Lily took the stage together to present Best Animated Feature, which went to Encanto!
Halle and Rachel‘s live action movies of course haven’t come out yet, especially since Rachel is currently in the middle of filming Snow White, taking a break in order to attend the show.
In case you forgot, Naomi played Jasmine in 2019′s Aladdin, while Lily played Cinderella in the 2015 movie of the same name.
Rachel took the stage to present alongside Jacob Elordi, who said that growing up as a kid in Australia, he never thought he would be standing on the Oscars stage.
She then joked, “And I never thought I’d be here 6 days ago.” Rachel of course was referring to her last minute invite, with her appearance confirmed last Wednesday.
While walking the red carpet, Halle was joined by her sister Chloe, Rachel was joined by her boyfriend Josh Andres Rivera and Naomi was joined by her hubby Jordan Spence.

Rachel Zegler wears a beautiful ball gown for the premiere of West Side Story held at El Capitan Theatre on Tuesday night (December 7) in Los Angeles.
The 20-year-old starlet hit the red carpet with her co-stars, including Mike Faist, David Alvarez, Ariana DeBose and Rita Moreno.
Other cast members at the premiere include Maddie Ziegler, Brianna Abruzzo, Sebastian Serra, Ana Isabelle, Paloma Garcia-Lee, Josh Andres Rivera, Ilda Mason, Kelvin Delgado, Yesenia Ayala, Yurel Echezarreta, Ricardo Zayas, Kevin Csolak, Juliette Feliciano, Tanairi Sade Vazquez, Carlos E Gonzalez, Jess LeProtto, Edriz E. Rosa Perez, Kyle Allen, Kyle Coffman, and John Michael Fiumara.
Carol Lawrence, who portrayed Maria in the original Broadway show, was also in attendance at the event.
West Side Story is out on Friday, December 10.
