Disney has found their live action Lilo!
The studio has reportedly cast the young actress who will be bringing the beloved Hawaiian character to life in an upcoming live action Lilo & Stitch movie.
THR reports that newcomer Maia Kealoha has landed the coveted role of the young girl in the feature film.

The upcoming live action Lilo & Stitch is one step closer to being made!
It was just announced on Thursday (July 14) that the Disney remake has found it’s director in Dean Fleischer Camp, according to Deadline.
The movie was first announced to be in the works all the way back in 2018, with live action Aladdin producers Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich serving as producers.

Lilo & Stitch is heading to the big screen again!
The popular 2002 animated Disney flick is getting live-action remake, according to THR.
The cute Hawaii-centric movie was centered around the bond between a lonely human girl named Lilo and a dog-like alien named Stitch and focused on the importance of family.
The film will reportedly be produced by Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, who are already working on the live-action remake of Aladdin.
Lilo & Stitch has already launched several direct-to-video sequels since its debut 16 years ago.
The new film does not yet have a release date.
