JJJ isn’t going to lie one bit about this — when we heard Lucas Adams was coming back to Liv and Maddie, we FREAKED out!
Lucas played Josh on the hit Disney Channel series in season three as a love interest to Maddie, and Liv’s Voltage co-star, both played by Dove Cameron.
A new episode description has been released and the first mention of Josh’s name, we flipped out!
We love Lucas and can’t wait to see him on the show again.
In the episode airing on January 27th, when Maddie and Josh start hanging out again, it puts Joey in an awkward position and he starts to question their rekindled friendship.
The Liv and Maddie couple — he played Josh, she played Heather (and Dove Cameron‘s Maddie double) — have been together for a while and are still the definition of relationship goals for us.
Happy Birthday to the sweetest, most kind, and selfless person I know,” Lucas wrote to Shelby on Instagram. “Lando and I love you so much and we wish you the happiest of birthdays baby cakes!! #BirthdayGirl.”
The Liv & Maddie star just celebrated his 23rd birthday on Sunday (July 24) and the cast took to social media to send his well wishes, specifically his co-stars Joey Bragg, Jessica Marie Garcia, and real-life girlfriend Shelby Wulfert.
Shelby wrote on Instagram, “Happy birthday to this epic nerf gun battler, sports knowledge expert, the absolute sweetest ever and my most favorite guy!”
“Wether we are pretending to be Knights, ninjas, angry Bostonians, or two simultaneous James Bonds, we always have a blast. Happy Birthday, @thelucasadams. Now let’s pretend to be Scottish dinosaurs next!” Joey wrote on Instagram.
Jess wrote on Insta, “Happy Birthday to the #valleyvigilantes blonde stud-daddy @thelucasadams thank you for being one of my best friends and the ONLY one who understands the value of the #mightyducks trilogy!.”
The real life Liv and Maddie couple — he played Josh, she plays the double for Maddie — are currently visiting his family in possibly the most beautiful place on Earth and sharing gorgeous pics on social media.
After sharing a amazing panoramic pic of the two in front of a mountain range, Shelby shared another pic of her with a goat — and this is where their relationship level was upped from just cute, to squee-everytime-you-see-them-adorable.
“Meet Oakley! Lucas’s grandpa let me name this little bundle of cuddles,” Shelby wrote. “(even though he thinks I’m crazy for loving goats so much).” Seriously, how adorable is that?!
