Nathan Kress just became a new father this week and already can’t stop sharing pics of his newborn baby girl, Rosie Carolyn.
In a new post on Instagram, the former iCarly actor and director shared a touching tribute to his wife, London.
“I can’t believe it’s already been over a week since this incredible day,” Nathan started. “Starting with this first quiet moment, I swell with pride every time I see my two favorite ladies together.”
He continues, “The way they got into a rhythm so fast never ceases to amaze me. Londy, you are SUCH a natural at this– a born mother. It warms my heart to see you absolutely shine in this role, in every way.”
“And Rosie… wow. You are already so strong, so expressive, so smart, and so very lovely. It will be an honor to watch you grow.”

Nathan Kress and his wife London welcomed a baby girl Rosie Carolyn last week and turns out, there was a full circle moment.
The 25-year-old Alive In Denver actor and his daughter were actually delivered by the same doctor, London revealed on Instagram.
“I really don’t have the words… My heart has been so captured in a way that has never been captured before,” she wrote with a pic of her and Rosie. “There has been so much beauty to take in and so many wild emotions behind it. What a surreal experience…which is why I haven’t posted in about a week (has it really almost been a week?!) No feeling has ever compared to this. Welcome to the world, Rosie Carolyn Kress. You are so, so loved.”
She continued, “Also, Mama and babe are doing amazing and had the smoothest, most pleasant 40 hour induced labor there could be, honestly! Rosie was also delivered by the same doctor who delivered Nathan, himself. Such a precious and ‘full circle’ moment.”

The super sweet couple welcomed their first child on Thursday afternoon (December 21) and they couldn’t be more overjoyed!
Nathan and London gave their new bundle of joy the most adorable name – Rosie Carolyn!
Nathan took to his Twitter to share the amazing news.
“Rosie Carolyn Kress, born 12/21/17 at 3:59pm. 6 lbs, 6 ounces of utter joy. Mom and baby are doing amazing. I am an emotional wreck. In the good way!” Nathan wrote.

In the mag, the 25-year-old former iCarly actor spoke about his new role in the Fullscreen show Alive in Denver!
The comedy follows a “group of friends who get together the night before the apocalypse and reveal their deepest secrets to each other�only the the world doesn’t end,” according to Deadline.
“They all start getting freaked out and they all start to reveal their deepest, darkest secrets about themselves, because they figure that they’re all going to die anyway, so why not get everything off their chests,” Nathan said about the show. “They’re left with the fact that they just revealed everything about themselves, and they didn’t die, so now they have to deal with the fallout.”
“It was one of the most fun things I’ve ever done,” he added about filming. “When I read the script for the first time pretty much every page had something that made me laugh out loud, and then I would read the script again five days later, and I would still laugh out loud.”
“If I wasn’t in it I would be a huge fan,” he said.
Nathan Kress has been doing a lot of firsts lately…the latest being actually going to a baby shower!
The former iCarly star and director joined his wife, London at a baby shower over the weekend for their future daughter.
“Dude I’d never been to one before last week, but baby showers are LEGIT,” he confessed on his Instagram. “Especially when it’s our own baby.. which I’m still sometimes in awe of. (Y’know what else I’m in awe of? How ridiculously beautiful London is, as referenced by me staring at her in this photo. Like y’know how women supposedly get that “glow” when they’re pregnant? I get that now).”
Nathan added that “it was so fun getting to celebrate this incoming treasure with some of our closest family and friends! The preparation continues, and we’re anxiously counting down the days… gah can’t wait to meet her.”
London added on her own Instagram, “It was truly a special day that will be cherished forever. We are so blessed to have such incredible people in our lives, near and far, at the shower, or not! Thank you to ALL for loving our little girl so much ALREADY!! She is one blessed little lady, and we are some dang blessed parents!”
Nathan and London will welcome their daughter this winter.
Nathan Kress is a fairly new director and he’s dishing about how he got started in his new career behind the camera.
“Honestly, when I first started directing it was really more of a case of seeing how it would go,” the former iCarly tells Prune magazine. “[It was] seeing if I would like it, and thinking I would probably hate it � but I had to know.”
However, it ended up quite the opposite.
“It ended up being way more fun than I thought it would be, granted it is the most stressful thing in my life,” Nathan continues. “I’m always very thankful when the week is over, but it’s so fulfilling and rewarding to build something from the ground up.”
And just because he’s behind the camera too, don’t think he’ll be ditching his actor life — at least not yet.
“Acting is my passion, it’s what I’m here to do,” Nathan says. “But if directing becomes my day job than that is an optimal situation.”
Nathan Kress and his wife London announced earlier this year that they were expecting their first child, a baby girl, and speaking with Prune mag, he’s admitting that he’s not entirely ready for her to arrive.
“As far as I’ve ever known, it goes back to the clich� that you’re not ready until it happens,” Nathan says. “I’m never going to feel truly prepared � but at the same time I’m such a researcher.”
That includes books, and websites, and everything in between.
“I’m doing everything that I know needs to be done. We’ve got our books that we’re reading and we’re taking all the classes, we’re preparing as much as we can,” Nathan adds. “Still, when she [London] looks at me and tells me her water broke, I’m going to be in horror that I’m not ready. I think everybody feels that way, and I’ll be in good company.”
Nathan also opened up about stepping back from his budding directing career when baby Kress arrives.
“She’s going to be a late December / January baby. That is when everything is pretty shut down for the most part. Things won’t ramp up until pilot season � so as far as it goes for me � the shows that I direct will be wrapped up or they will be on hiatus.”
He does voice over work and some auditions in between, but if it came down to choosing that over his family, his family would definitely win.
“I would give up my career in a heartbeat if it meant keeping my family stronger � I don’t have any problem turning down work if it isn’t good for my family.”
