Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd are getting a ton of love from their Dancing With The Stars family after the birth of their first child together — and that includes from their past partners!
Both Meryl Davis (who won with Maks in Season 18) and Nyle Di Marco (who won with Peta in Season 22), headed to social media to send their congrats.
“Congrats @MaksimC & @PetaMurgatroyd!!!! Can’t wait to meet your little dancer one day!!!” Nyle wrote.
Meryl added, “Congrats @MaksimC & @PetaMurgatroyd on the birth of your baby boy! May your hearts forever be full as you embark on this journey together!”

Amazing news – Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd are officially parents to a baby boy!
The couple welcomed their son today, in the early morning hours, and announced the news via Twitter.
“Shai Aleksander Chmerkovskiy,” Maksim tweeted, along with the date and time of their son’s birth.
The couple let the world know that the baby was on the way last night by posting photos from the hospital!
Congrats to the happy couple on the wonderful new baby. We can’t wait to see a photo!

Over the summer, Peta and Maks announced that they were expecting a baby boy early 2017 and it looks like that time has officially come!
Maks‘ younger brother Val Chmerkovskiy took to his Instagram to cancel his Dancing with the Stars tour appearance because Peta is “literally delivering the baby as soon as I’m done with this video, hopefully.”

Maks took to Instagram over the weekend to share their story about being asked to leave the class after Peta wouldn’t stop asking questions.
“Lamaz class went��interesting. @petamurgatroyd was the worst student in class, but I don’t blame her cause it was a million hours long and we’ve been shown waaaaaaaay too much stuff!” he wrote.
But Peta is ALLOWED to ask a million questions! She’s having a baby!

Maksim Chmerkovskiy makes Peta Murgatroyd light up while out on a walk in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon (October 18).
The expectant parents and engaged couple grabbed some lunch together after Maksim was eliminated from Dancing With The Stars this week with celeb partner Amber Rose.
“Well I’m looking forward to the finale. I know I’ll definitely be involved with that. I’d love to get another opportunity to do something with Val like we did a few weeks ago, if people would like to see more of that! So I’m hoping there will be a little more in store for me this season, and then I’m looking forward to going home and changing diapers!” Maks shared in his EW blog about what’s next for him concerning DWTS.
He added, “Peta‘s doing very well, she’s happy to have me back home, and she’s just radiant. I might be biased on this one, but I think she’s the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. I’m blessed for sure.”
