Sadie Stanley, Ciara Wilson and Sean Giambrone brave the cold temps outside to take a pic in Times Square in New York City on Thursday afternoon (January 31).
Joined by Taylor Ortega and Todd Stashwick, the group took a pic in front of the Disney Store ahead of meeting kids and families for an autograph signing.
Earlier, Christy Carlson Romano opened up about choosing not to give any advice to Sadie about playing the title character in Kim Possible.
“Out of respect to the directors and also to the process of a young actress, Sadie, learning about what her interpretation of Kim was, I chose not to be vocal about anything in particular with what I would think or would do or say,” she shared with EW.
“It wasn’t my place to overstep and try to be a control freak. I wanted them to experience Kim for how they saw her.”
However, Christy was happy to be a part of the movie in a different way, as Poppy Blu.
“I thought it was really fun that they asked me to be that cameo, but I kind of look at it as a character,” she adds. “When I approached Poppy Blu, I wasn’t just playing it as Christy Romano, I really approached her as a character. I’m going to be very transparent in that I hope Poppy Blu comes back.”
Sadie Stanley joined her Kim Possible cast-mates in the photo booth after their appearance at Build Series in New York City on Thursday (January 31).
The 15-year-old actress, with Ciara Wilson, Sean Giambrone, Taylor Ortega, and Todd Stashwick, dished about their upcoming movie, premiering on Disney Channel next week.
Sadie revealed in the interview that Kim Possible was actually her first audition ever.
“I felt like I was very out of my league,” she shared. “I thought I was going to start a lot smaller in terms of auditions.”
Sadie adds, “I think that’s what worked for me in that I went into the audition with this attitude of I’m just going to have fun.”
Rufus will 100% be part of the upcoming Kim Possible live action movie!
However, his origin story is just a bit different. Instead of Ron getting Rufus, a hairless pet, because his dad was allergic to any kind of animal with fur; in the movie, the two characters meet in a science lab, where Rufus is living in a glass terrarium.
“Ron knew that that was like a missing part of him, this Rufus. Then we get to see how they help each other out for the rest of the movie,” Sean Giambrone, who plays Ron in the movie, shared in the video reveal.
The CGI naked mole rat will be voiced by Nancy Cartwright, the actor who voiced the character in the original cartoon series.
“He just squeaks and makes gurgles and giggles; he brings a little levity to the show. He brings the little hint of comedy,” Nancy shared in the video reveal. “Hopefully, by creating this fun character, he’s the only thing in the [movie] that’s animated, it adds this little extra thing that inspires kids.”
Kim Possible will premiere on Friday, February 15th on Disney Channel.
