Jane suits up to shatter some things in this new still from tonight’s The Bold Type.

In “The Deep End”, Jane (Katie Stevens) stumbles on the scoop of a lifetime, but Jacqueline (Melora Hardin) turns down the pitch when her impending 10th-anniversary gala and continued power-struggles with Patrick force her to contemplate her future with Scarlet.

Meanwhile, Sutton (Meghann Fahy) preps a design seminar application for Oliver’s (Stephen Conrad Moore) recommendation, but he remains distracted by things in his personal life; and Kat (Aisha Dee) decides to run for City Council but reconsiders when she learns what the opposition might spin about her past.

Alex (Matt Ward) examines his dating life in a piece for Scarlet digital when he realizes he was the subject behind a #MeToo story; and Sutton (Meghann Fahy) considers a career shift into fashion design but debates how to break the news to Oliver.

If there were any two shows we’d want to do a crossover on Freeform, it’d be The Bold Type and Good Trouble – and The Bold Type cast is in!

Speaking with TV Guide, Katie Stevens, Aisha Dee and Meghann Fahy opened up about their ideas on how the series’s could pull it off on the network.

“I’ve been watching Good Trouble [...] every week, and Callie (Maia Mitchell) now is in a weird place with her job. She could come and work for Scarlet‘s [legal department], which then crosses over. I’m sure that Scarlet has to have an L.A. office. Every magazine has another office,” Katie shared her idea.

“So we all like take a trip out to the L.A. office [and] meet with them. We’d have dinner at the Coterie and then Jane’s like, man, ‘I think I should live here.’ And then they just exist in the same world,” she added. “I feel like Kat and Gael can talk about bisexuality and queerness and [Kat] can help Alice, who’s also queer.”

Another show that they’d love a crossover with? grown-ish!

In “Plus It Up”, Jane (Katie Stevens) begins her fertility treatments in preparation for freezing her eggs and is assigned an article to write about her experience, but with a very personal twist.

Kat (Aisha Dee) learns that a prominent lesbian bar is being closed down and replaced with condos and decides to throw a Queer Prom to fundraise its rescue, and Sutton (Meghann Fahy) moves in with Richard (Sam Page) but struggles to accept his help when Oliver’s (Stephen Conrad Moore) mysterious absences force her to put in more hours at work.

Freeform just dropped brand new promo pics of the ladies for the new season, along with Melora Hardin, Sam Page, Stephen Conrad Moore and Matt Ward.

Just recently, Katie opened up about tonight’s new episode where Jane begins the process of freezing her eggs and it’s something she isn’t wanting to really share with boyfriend, Ryan (Dan Jeannotte).

“I think that it’s really hard for Jane just because she had just gone through the situation with Ben where she let him in on her medical stuff, and it made everything weird and kind of ruined it,” she shared.

She continues, “I think that it’s easy to kind of be like, ‘Well, we’re having too much fun, and the serious stuff is going to ruin it, so let’s forget about the serious stuff. We don’t need to talk about it. I can handle it on my own. It’s an important lesson that if there are people in your life…reaching out to you when you need help, to accept that help, and to know that you don’t have to go through things alone. So I think that that’s the lesson that Jane is learning through this experience.”

It’s official – Jane ended up with Ryan aka Pinstripe on The Bold Type and we are so excited for what’s to come for the new couple!

Katie Stevens chatted with TVLine following the season three premiere about what’s ahead for the twosome.

“It’s been a fun journey of having people commenting on who they think Jane’s going to pick and who they want Jane to pick, and most people are Pinstripe fans,” she shared. “I’m excited for everyone who was hoping for that, and for me, because I love Dan Jeannotte.”

Katie adds that what made Jane “ultimately choose him is that he understands her career. He supports her. He pushes her where she needs to be pushed, takes her outside of her comfort zone, challenges her, but is also really supportive and caring and loving.”

“He has continually showed up for her, and I think that was something that she was scared that he wouldn’t do. So that’s why she was so hesitant for so long, but he had proved himself over and over and over again to her to where she, finally, was able to kind of let her guard down and allow herself to trust him.”

So what’s ahead for the couple? Committing to a relationship!

“[It's about] how do you take somebody from that and have them commit, and what does that commitment look like? I’m really excited because we have a lot of sweet things coming up for them, and it’s nice to see that different side. It was so easy to kind of show Pinstripe as, like, a player, but now we get to see him as a boyfriend, and we get to see Jane give herself over to a relationship, too, because I think that Jane has been a little apprehensive in the past,” Katie says. “Just watching two people who were too scared to give it a shot finally giving it a shot, I think, is really fun for viewers to see.”

We’re just hours away from our fave BFFs – Katie Stevens, Aisha Dee and Meghann Fahy – returning to the small screen on The Bold Type.

The three chatted earlier with Refinery29 about what’s ahead for Jane, Kat and Sutton in season three and the answers we’ll get straight away with the premiere ep.

First up – who the heck did Jane chose – the doctor or Pinstripe?!

While Katie didn’t spill who, she did say that the relationship would be a major player for her storyline.

“One of her overall arcs [this season] is what a real millennial relationship looks like for two people who are really committed to their jobs. And, what it looks like when one person is successful versus the other one, or when they’re both successful at the same time,” Katie shared. “Right now, the episodes we’re on, we’re processing through that.”

Meanwhile, Kat is running for office, and that’s an amazing arc for her.

“We’re going to see Kat get more involved in local politics,” Aisha dished. “I think — or I hope — a lot of people watching the show will be inspired by that. To get involved however you can. Whether that means running for office or just going out and actually voting in primaries.”

Also, can we talk about that designer bombshell Sutton dropped int he first sneak peek?!

“She’s like, ‘Okay, cool, so now I’m an assistant. I don’t want to be an assistant for the rest of my life. What do I want to do?,’ Meghann shared about her ambitions in the fashion world. “Does she want to be Oliver when she grows up? Does she want to do something else?”
