It turns out that an ABC broadcast of the celestial event used Dove and former musical partner Ryan McCartan‘s song “Glowing in The Dark” for the theme song.
“Def never thought a song of mine would be used as the theme for a once in a lifetime natural phenomenon #glowinginthedark #SolarEclipse17,” Dovetweeted after several fans pointed it out to her over Twitter.
One fan wrote to her: “so glad that @DoveCameron invented the eclipse!! You go babydoll.”
Another added, “my baby’s @DoveCameron ‘s song glowing in the dark is the song for the news coverage of the eclipse I’m so proud.”

The musical, and engaged duo — Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan — already release three songs off the six-song record this week.
“One of the flagship goals of the Negatives project was the integrity and honesty of our feelings and stories,” TGATC told Elle, who premiered “Cry Wolf”.
They added, “Lyrically, we feel like we really accomplished that with ‘Cry Wolf’�we’re also obsessed with the amped up production and the tension it evokes.”

Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan have just announced that their performance in Louisiana this weekend has been cancelled.
The engaged couple and musical duo wrote a heartfelt note on Twitter to their fans.
“With our deepest, deepest apologies and sorrows, we must announced that we are canceling our show this weekend,” The Girl and the Dreamcatcher wrote. “These are dark times for artists everywhere, for those that knew Christina, and for general public morale.”
Dove and Ryan added at the end, “In honor of the lives lost, and in accordance with the precautions that we now have to instill, we will need to come back to Louisiana at a later date.”
