The 25-year-old actress went on A Little Late with Lilly Singh and talked about what it’s like to film those kind of scenes with her BFF.
“It’s great, because I think when you have on screen love interests, it can be a little awkward and you don’t really know each other, you’re not comfortable. Vanessa and I are so comfortable that we’ll write ourselves love scenes,” Madelaine said.
“We’re like, ‘Oh, we’re not making out here, let’s make out!’” she added.

The 25-year-old Riverdale star was one of Vanessa‘s bridesmaids at the ceremony, and just shared a new pic of the two getting ready for the nuptials on her Instagram.
“I was lucky enough to be by my best friends side while she married one of the most genuine people I know. Still crying tbh. Love you V ❤️😍🥰,” Madelaine sweetly wrote.
Vanessa replied, “Love you ♥️😭.”

The Riverdale actress and Chicago White Sox baseball player Michael Kopech tied the knot in front of their family and friends at the Historic Walton House on Saturday (January 4) in Homestead, Fla., E! News reports.
About 40 guests attended, including Skeet Ulrich, Drew Tanner, and Madelaine Petsch. Vanessa‘s sister Celina was her maid of honor.
“We both knew the first day we met that ‘this is it’ and I’m so excited that today officially starts our forever,” Vanessa told the outlet. “Today, I vowed to love my best friend for a lifetime and it was a day spent with those we love in a room filled with endless love. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him.”

Madelaine Petsch and Vanessa Morgan have been besties ever since they met in the Riverdale audition room, and way before they became Choni on the popular CW series.
Now, with Vanessa getting married in just five weeks to baseball player Michael Kopech, fans have been wondering if Madelaine would be standing up beside her during the ceremony.
And the answer is YES!
Madelaine shared a snap of Vanessa‘s cute ask on her Instagram Stories. “I’m so excited,” she wrote on the image, with a few emojis after it.
Madelainerecalled of how their friendship first started, “We instantly became friends at the studio test and then at the network test we exchanged Instagrams.”
And after Madelaine was cast, “[Vanessa] was so happy for me. In fact, the first time we hung out was to congratulate me on booking the role.”

The Riverdale actress and the White Sox pitcher got engaged during a trip to Mooney Falls in Arizona earlier this summer.
“Our relationship probably doesn’t make sense to many people for a sh*t ton of reasons, but we’re not doing it for them,” Michael wrote after the news was announced on his Instagram. “We know this is forever. Why would we wait? lol. You literally stayed by my side when I felt I had lost my mind. You stayed by my side for these seemingly random changes of my life. You stayed when often times I didn’t deserve it. You’ve loved me for ME from day one. Completely unselfishly.”
He added, “You’re undeniably the spark that reignited my fire. You’re deserving of much more than just this moment but this one just felt particularly magical. I’m incredibly humbled by the love that you give and I only hope I can portray a fraction of the love and light that you carry with you.”
In her recent Instagram post, Vanessa confirmed that she and Michael will be getting married around the New Year’s Eve holiday!
“Thankful for my best-friend. Can’t wait to be Mrs.Kopech in 5 weeks! 👰🏽” she captioned with one of their engagement pictures.
The girls were in the middle of a make out scene when KJ Apa popped in.
“I would say it was a little far. It was a little because, like, the cameras were rolling and something happened,” Madelaine said about the moment in an interview.
“Yeah, they were rolling and we were doing an intimate scene and he just pops up,” Vanessa chimed in.
“And what did he say? He said, ‘Oh, it’s about time!’ or something like that,” Madelaine added. “We were doing, like, a little make out scene. It was very stressful. It was funny though.”

Last year, in 2018, KJ and his friend and co-star Charles Melton dressed up in the best Josie & The Pussycats costumes and this year, he wore a picture of them in those costumes on his shirt.
KJ‘s co-stars Camila Mendes and Vanessa Morgan also shared their Halloween costumes this year. Camila perfectly dressed up as a “sexy” Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty, while Vanessa dressed up as a sexy Maleficent.
“*pickle rick voice* I’M SEXY RICKKK (and yes that’s glitter on my chin for his ~iconic~ drool),” Camila captioned her post.
