Brec Bassinger Moves to Blue Valley On 'DC's Stargirl' Series Premiere Tonight!

DC’s Stargirl is making it’s network debut on The CW TONIGHT (May 19)!

The latest DC Comic show premiered the night before on the DC Universe platform.

In the pilot episode, when Courtney’s (Brec Bassinger) seemingly perfect life in Los Angeles gets upended with a move to Blue Valley, Nebraska with her mother Barbara (Amy Smart), stepfather Pat (Luke Wilson) and stepbrother Mike (Trae Romano), she finds herself struggling to adapt to her new town and high school.

But when Courtney discovers that Pat is harboring a major secret about his past, she ultimately becomes the unlikely inspiration for a new generation of superheroes.

DC’s Stargirl premieres TONIGHT (May 19) at 8/7c on The CW!

Ruby Rose is hanging up her bat suit!

The 34-year-old actress just announced she’s leaving her role as Kate Kane/Batwoman in the CW series Batwoman, Variety reports.

“I have made the very difficult decision to not return to Batwoman next season,” Ruby shared in a statement. “This was not a decision I made lightly as I have the utmost respect for the cast, crew and everyone involved with the show in both Vancouver and in Los Angeles. I am beyond appreciative to Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Caroline Dries for not only giving me this incredible opportunity, but for welcoming me into the DC universe they have so beautifully created. Thank you Peter Roth and Mark Pedowitz and the teams at Warner Bros. and The CW who put so much into the show and always believed in me. Thank you to everyone who made season one a success – I am truly grateful.”

Ruby‘s announcement comes just a few days after The CW revealed the 2020/2021 schedule and a Superman & Lois/Batwoman crossover.

Lele Pons is taking fans inside what her life is really like in her new docu-series The Secret Life of Lele Pons.

In the show, the 23-year-old singer and internet personality gives a candid look at how she’s living wth OCD, Tourette Syndrome, ADHD and Depression.

“Am I scared to tell people? Yes. Am I scared of what they might say? Yes. But am I embarrassed? No,” she says in the video.

While speaking about being bullied online, Lele shared that sometimes it’s just too much.

“It’s just like, when did all become that? When did it all become so, like, evil, you know?” Lele says while wiping away tears. “And then, like, what’s happening here is that people are making hating me cool. Sometimes I log on and I just want to end it.”

Noah Cyrus has dropped her latest music video, “The End of Everything”!

The 20-year-old singer took to Instagram to explain the inspiration and meaning behind the track.

“This video was inspired by John Boswell’s/ @melodysheep_ ‘s time lapse to the future video and I had the pleasure of working with him on this as well,” she wrote on Instagram. “I’ve never been more inspired to go and write a song based on a visual and @thiefofficial is the only person I know that could connect with me on the level that it takes to write a song like this. (Pj i love you so much thank n you for being my musical rock lol).”

“Problems that seemed big became small. Your pain won’t last forever. Your fears won’t last forever. Mother Earth won’t last forever. Everyone you love is gonna’ die but darlin’ so is everything, don’t cry. TIME WILL BECOME MEANINGLESS. We have to make the most out of every last second we have together. Let’s love and let’s appreciate, especially now more than ever,” Noah continued. “I hope this video and song inspires you and reaches apart of you that is beyond explanation. Because thats all i can really say when it comes to this topic. I’m just blown away.”

“One last thing. My mom @tishcyrus and my daddy @billyraycyrus are such a huge inspiration behind this song. I just want to let you know that I never take one moment with you guys for granted. I love you both so much that it makes me sad but then its also so beautiful that the love we have has to end. I’ll never want it to. But it will by nature. Billie Eilish and Takashi Murakami have collaborated on a clothing collection with Uniqlo!

The 18-year-old musician and the Japanese artist’s line features Billie‘s name logo, her photo and Takashi‘s illustrations.

“UT has miraculously made a collaboration with this talented duo a reality,” the Uniqlo website says. “The sensibilities of the contemporary artist and musician, each prolific at the highest level worldwide, have been fused together through fashion, in turn providing us with new discoveries in each of their visions.”

Billie and Takashi‘s collaboration will be released online on Monday (May 25), and will be available in stores starting Friday, May 29th, as retail locations reopen.

This isn’t the first time the two have collaborated. Takashi created Billie‘s “you should see me in a crown” music video!
