Aimee Carrero is heading back to television in the upcoming The Boys spinoff at Prime Video!
The Young & Hungry actress will be joined by Shane Paul McGhie and Maddie Phillips as well, Deadline reveals.
The trio will play young superheroes in the spinoff “set at America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (and run by Vought International). It is described as an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. Part college show, part Hunger Games — with all the heart, satire and raunch of The Boys.”
If you missed it, these actresses were also recently announced to be joining the show!
While Aimee has had recurring roles on Blindspot and The Village, this will be her first regular role on a live action TV show since Young & Hungry ended.
Just last summer, Aimee said goodbye to one of her other shows, after four years.
