Laura‘s co-star Calum Worthy took to his Twitter to send his birthday wishes as well, saying, “Happy Birthday @lauramarano! I hope you eat lots of cashews and that weird chicken thing your Dad always makes!” He even jokingly added a photo of Laura‘s older sister Vanessa!

Recently speaking with DailyTrojan, the 19-year-old singer/actress opened up about the final season of Austin & Ally and saying goodbye.
“I knew for a fact that we had one more season of Austin and Ally, and I really wanted to give that all my attention. It was the first time I did not have to balance both school and my career,” she shared.
Laura continued, “It was very bittersweet. I think the whole cast was definitely excited to move onto other things, but we also knew how much we were going to miss each other…because of Austin and Ally, I have gained lifelong friends and a second family. Saying goodbye to seeing these people every day was extremely difficult.”

Speaking with USC News, Laura opened up about her studies and balancing her music with it all.
“Usually people go to college and use that time to figure out what they want to do. But even though I already know, I still want to go to college and continue my education,” Laura shared. She’s majoring in philosophy, politics and law at University of Southern California.
She added, “In order to make substantial changes in a third-world country or countries with conflict, you really have to know about government. I’ve been wanting to learn more about law and governments — how the different kinds function. I thought this would be an awesome major to expand my knowledge in that area.”
