Laura Marano shows off her inner wild child in this new shot from the March 2015 issue of NKD mag.
The 19-year-old actress opened up about cherishing every moment on the Austin & Ally set, being this close to not being Ally at all, and more. Check it:
On almost not being cast as Ally: “The casting director did not think I was right for the part [of Ally Dawson]. They said I was too outgoing and Ally is supposed to be shy and timid. Even though I was outgoing, I don’t think I was that comfortable musically. So I definitely related to her in that way as well.”
On the last season of Austin & Ally: “It’s so much better having that knowledge that it’s the last season. We’re all like, ‘Let’s enjoy every single moment.’ Everything is like the last something. It’s sad, but it’s exciting.”
On her music style: “Two of my favorite artists are Sara Bareilles and P!NK, and I think, although their genres are not similar at all, what they do have [in common] is in their lyrics. They’re just so honest. That’s kind of what I hope to do with my music.”
