Laura Marano, Meg Donnelly, Calum Worthy Lend Their Voices To Animated Vaccine Series

Disney stars Laura Marano, Meg Donnelly and Calum Worthy are among the voice cast for the new series Pandemica!

The Austin & Ally and Zombies stars are lending their voices to the animated series from the ONE Campaign, THR reveals.

Pandemica “aims to raise awareness of the importance of vaccines in ending the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Pandemica‘s animated world animates a simple truth — that where you live shouldn’t determine whether you get these life-saving shots,” Bono, co-founder of ONE and (RED), said in a statement. “Even while many of us still wait our turn, we need to commit to making sure that billions of people around the world aren’t left at the back of the line. It’s the right thing to do, obviously, but it’s also the only way out of this pandemic for all of us. If the vaccine isn’t everywhere, this pandemic isn’t going anywhere.”

“My strangest and yet most important role of 2021!! If the vaccine isn’t everywhere, this pandemic isn’t going anywhere. Join @ONECampaign and our fight to end #COVID19. Visit https://go.one.org/3l8i7CU #Pandemica,” Laura shared on Twitter.

“I’m very honored to be in @ONECampaign’s animated series about the importance of making COVID 19 vaccines available to everyone, everywhere – regardless of where you live Because, unfortunately, this virus thrives on inequality Oh and my good friend @lauramarano is also in it!!” Calum wrote.

Also lending their voices to the series include Patrick Adams, Samuel Arnold, Bono, Connie Britton, Penélope Cruz, Danai Gurira, Nick Kroll, Kumail Nanjiani, David Oyelowo, Phoebe Robinson, Michael Sheen and Wanda Sykes.

You can catch the episodes of Pandemica on the ONE Campaign’s social channels.

The 24-year-old actress and singer’s new body of work features some previously released songs, as well as new ones like “Run,” “Something to Believe In” and “You.”

While responding to fans tweet’s about the new music, Laura expressed she was exceptionally nervous to release “Run.”

“Well, Run is the first song I’ve ever released that I wrote by myself, so it means so much to me, but I’m also super critical of it haha #YOUep,” she wrote in one tweet.

When another fan asked if she was scared or nervous about the fans’ reaction to “Run,” Laura said, “Oh 100%. I’m actually blown away by everyone’s response…like I thought you might have thought it was a skip….I’m so pleasantly surprised 😭😭😭 #YOUep”

“‪I’m honestly just this face right now 🥺 my ep YOU is officially here!!!! I. Have. So. Many. Feelings. Right. Now, but most of all, I’m just so, so happy for you to hear it….though, to be completely honest, it does feel strange ‬celebrating this when the world is in such a dark, scary state. Working on this EP for the past few months involved quite a bit of compartmentalizing at times, but it also helped me focus and put my time and energy into a really healthy outlet. I’m so incredibly thankful for everyone who helped me make this, and now, the #youep is finally all yours ❤️✨” Laura wrote on Instagram after the EP dropped.

“I got to work with some insanely wonderful and talented people, from amazing producers and writers to incredible mixers and an amazing mastering team to lovely friends of mine who helped sing on a certain song (you’ll know the one 😏)…thank you to all of you!!!!❤️❤️❤️,” she added.

Laura Marano and Poppy Gagnon get into a bit of tiff in this new clip from The War With Grandpa!

The two actresses play sisters in the movie, and while Laura is on the phone, Poppy starts singing a Christmas tune.

Laura then shushes her and the two go back and forth quite a few times in a hilarious moment.

In The War With Grandpa, sixth-grader Peter (Oakes Fegley) is pretty much your average kid-he likes gaming, hanging with his friends and his beloved pair of Air Jordans. But when his recently widowed grandfather Ed (Robert De Niro) moves in with Peter’s family, the boy is forced to give up his most prized possession of all, his bedroom.

Unwilling to let such an injustice stand, Peter devises a series of increasingly elaborate pranks to drive out the interloper, but Grandpa Ed won’t go without a fight. Soon, the friendly combatants are engaged in an all-out war with side-splitting consequences.

The movie, which also stars Christopher Walken, Uma Thurman, Rob Riggle, Cheech Marin and Jane Seymour, hits theaters on October 9th!
