The cast of Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists glam up for this group shot at the premiere of their new show held at Hollywood Athletic Club on Friday (March 15) in Los Angeles.

The new liars – Eli Brown, Sofia Carson, Hayley Erin, Graeme Thomas King, Chris Mason, Sydney Park, Kelly Rutherford, Evan Bittencourt, Noah Gray-Cabey, and Garret Wareing – were joined by returning PLL cast members Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish.

Series creator and writer I Marlene King and Pretty Little Liars author Sara Shepard. OG PLL cast members Ashley Benson and Brendan Robinson also stopped by the premiere.

Also in attendance were Bailee Madison, Frankie Grande, Renee Olstead, Sasha‘s husband Hudson Sheaffer, and Chris‘ wife Spencer Locke.

Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists premieres on Wednesday (March 20) at 8pm ET on Freeform.

FYI: Sofia is wearing an Elie Saab dress and Le Silla shoes with Anabela Chan and Borgioni jewelry. Janel is wearing an Elisabetta Franchi dress with Anne Sisteron jewelry. Sasha is wearing Jonathan Simkhai dress, Casadei shoes, State Property earrings, and a Yvan Turenkijan ring while carrying a Tyler Ellis clutch. There’s been a lot of talk about if and when Emily and the twins would pop up on The Perfectionists, seeing as Alison just accepted a job far away from them in Portland on the series.

Now, Sasha Pieterse and Marlene King are giving us new answers about what’s going on with our fave family.

“Alison and Emily will always love each other. They have these two beautiful babies together. It’s complicated. Life is complicated, and I think piecing themselves and each other and their world back together since A happened is difficult,” Sasha shared with TV Guide.

She continued, “To be honest, [showrunner I. Marlene King] hasn’t told me anything, so I’m actually not lying when I tell you I don’t know all the details, but it’s very clear that Alison loves Emily and the babies. I think both Emily and Alison need time to process their life and I think that’s what it is.”

That’s when Marlene stepped in: “Emily and the babies are safe in Rosewood. Alison comes to Beacon Heights because an opportunity arises that she can’t pass up. It’s very hard for her to leave Emily and the babies, but we will understand as the first 10 episodes play out what’s happened in that relationship, why it’s happening and why Alison is so far away from Emily.”

“People have relationship challenges all of the time and this is proof,” Sasha adds. “Their life is really complicated. You Google them and it’s just a disaster/ A lot of things has happened, but I think this [separation] is good.”

Previously, Marlene confirmed that we will see the twins in the spinoff.

“You will see the twins, yeah. They’re a little older now. I think they’re toddlers now. They’re, like, maybe 3 [years old].”

Sofia Carson, Eli Brown, and Sydney Park joins original Pretty Little Liars stars Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish for the feature where they open up about the pressures of keeping up appearances and achieving false perfection online.

“Social media is a beautiful responsibility that we have as actors,” Sofia shared. “It’s almost like a superpower to be able to connect with so many people at once, and to have such an impact. I think it’s incredibly important to take it seriously.”

“It is this seemingly perfect world on the exterior, and then once you crack the surface, you find imperfections and lies and darkness that we all have inside of each of us,” she continued. “I think the darkness gets heightened in our search for perfection. I think that’s kind of infiltrated into everyone’s world now through social media. Our world consumed by this strife for this unattainable perfection. That is harmful.”

Sydney added, “You find yourself comparing yourself a lot to other people and their highlight reel — what you’re seeing. We all do it. I’m not going to show the worst parts of me. I’m not going to show my bad days on Instagram. Some people do, but at least for what my job is, I have to keep this image, and it’s a lot of pressure.”

Janel Parrish, Sasha Pieterse, and Sofia Carson run into their Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists poster at Walt Disney World!

The co-stars had tons of fun at the theme park this weekend in Orlando, as Janel showcased on her Instagram.

“Went to #waltdisneyworld this weekend with @sashapieterse and @sofiacarson to hunt down our poster and have some fun!” she captioned the slideshow below on Tuesday. “Get ready to see LOTS of open mouth smiles…what a magical place to be with magical people. (Watch your ears on the last slide…Sof and I really enjoyed Big Thunder Mountain Railroad 😂).”

“Yo our poster is at #waltdisneyworld and we have NO CHILL,” Janel added in her Stories.

They also double dated with Janel‘s husband Chris Long and Sasha‘s husband Hudson Sheaffer.

These two couples are just too cute!

Janel Parrish took to Instagram on Sunday (March 10) to reveal that she and husband Chris Long are spending the day with Sasha Pieterse and her husband Hudson Sheaffer in Disney World!

“#disneydoubledate,” Janel captioned the two photos of the couple – one of them smiling for the selfie, and they second of the couples kissing.

Janel and Sasha have become close friends over the years after working together on Pretty Little Liars and now starring on the spinoff series The Perfectionists.

The series premiere of Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists airs on Wednesday March 20th on Freeform!

Sasha Pieterse is simply stunning on the beauty cover of InLove magazine‘s Spring 2019 issue.

The 23-year-old actress opened up about bringing Alison DiLaurentis back to the small screen in The Perfectionists, a character she once thought would be hated by the fans.

Speaking about how bullying was one of the biggest things she’s been able to speak on since Pretty Little Liars‘ impact, Sasha revealed that when she was “cast as Alison, I was nervous that viewers would hate me, and Alison, due to how terrible of a person she was, but I was pleasantly surprised.”

“Instead, it gave me the chance to speak out about bullying and the negative ripple effect it has on our world,” she added. “Everyone is or has been, bullied by someone in their life, and the easiest way to process it is to figure out why it’s happening; most of the time it comes down to insecurity, trauma, and projection. Bullies are usually very insecure and troubled. Once you understand that you’re not the problem, you just happen to be a punching bag at that moment, it becomes easier to deal with.”

Sasha also opened up about returning as Alison in The Perfectionists.

“PLL: The Perfectionists has all of the best parts of PLL that we’re obsessed with and an exciting new story with some beautiful and twisted new characters to love. Ali has had a tough go at life, and it’s not getting any easier.”

Sasha continues, “The dust has settled in Rosewood, and she’s been left picking up the pieces and trying to put herself back together as an adult. Having a normal life isn't exactly her specialty, and she’s having a hard time navigating her family life. Beacon Heights is giving her a chance to prove to herself, and to Emily and her kids, that she can be a better, well-rounded person. But, things don’t always go as planned.”

The new visual, via TVGuide, for the spinoff of Pretty Little Liars shows Alison heading into her new job at Beacon Heights University, where a student gets murdered on campus just days after she starts.

Alison also promises her new students that she won’t do anything she has not done before to stop the torment that’s happening and the truth.
