The 16-year-old Miss Teen USA 2015 crowned the new queen along with Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and Miss USA 2016 Deshauna Barber.
After the competition was over, Katherine posted a sweet goodbye message on her personal Instagram.
“Anddddd just like that, I’m a now a former Miss Teen USA!” she wrote. “A huge congrats to @karlie_hay for capturing the title!”
Katherine added, “My year was indescribable! I made so many memories that will last a lifetime and grew so much as a person! Now… I’m ready to conquer the next chapter of my life! Stay tuned to see what’s next, it’s exciting.”
